Robert, Thank you for the updates you have made! This continues to be an extremely useful widget. I have been looking forward to working with related tables with the widget. When I add a related, I can add the fields I want but do not see an area to enter a search expression. I am using WAB Developers Edition 2.4. Could that be the issue? I've attached a screenshot. Thanks, Adam

Yes, Kevin, that is correct. The idea would be to hide a field from the results if that field was empty, or had a null value. It would be very useful in limiting the results so users don't have to scroll through a long list of blank values. Really, I would like to see this in the pop-up window as well. I just thought I would reach out to see if it's something Robert has thought about adding to his custom widget at any time.

Robert, This is a great widget, thanks so much. I have a use case where I have over 100 fields and in many instances only 15-20 of those are populated. Can you advise me on how to return only the fields that have a value in the search results? It would be nice if users didn't have to scroll through the whole list. I imagine this is possible, but I am not sure how to code that. Do you have any ideas? Thanks, Adam

Thank you for the response. I downloaded and tested the widget; very nice! Unfortunately I don't have a ton of experience with javascript. That said, I will see what I can find about filtering out null attributes. If you have any additional information you'd like to share about that it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the response. Adam

Hello. Has anyone discovered a way to return only the fields that have a real value (not null) in a webmap popup? I know there is not a setting or configuration in either ArcGIS Online or Portal that allows it. I am wondering if anyone has found a way to customize a popup for this purpose. Or, has possibly created a widget that does this? I am working with a feature layer with over 100 fields and in most cases only 15--20 are populated. It would be great if users didn't have to scroll through the entire list of fields to see what amenities are present at each location. Thanks! Adam

Robert, Thank you that code works great. Unfortunately it has taken this long to get back on this project. While this does clear any selected features and map graphics, I need to find a way to clear any search results from the eSearch widget results as well as from the attribute table. That will be the next step in the process... If you have any ideas or advice I would love to hear it! Otherwise, thank you for the start. Cheers, Adam

Robert, Thank you, I will give that a shot and see what I can do. Ultimately I would like to add it to the LayerList widget. In doing so, I assume I would still add it in the MapManager.js. Thanks, Adam

Hello, I am attempting to add a Vector Tile Layer to an application using the Developer's Edition of Web AppBuilder. I cannot add it to my ArcGIS Online webmap because I am using custom Level of Details. Can I add a VTL to my application as it loads? Has anyone done this? I'm having a hard time finding where or how to do that. Thanks in advance, Adam

Thank you Robert. That's pretty much what I expected. I will see if I can add the layer to the WAB application dynamically when it loads. I am using the developer edition so I assume there's a way. Thanks again.

I am curious if anyone has created a custom Zoom to Scale widget for Web AppBuilder? We created one that works but it requires that you have a dynamic map as a basemap in your web map. Otherwise you are restricted to the scales of a tiled basemap. I wanted to see if anyone else has created one and was able to circumvent having a dynamic basemap. The reason I ask is this: I have created a vector tile layer that I would like to load into my web map. However, I am finding that you can't do that because the tiling scheme is different than the basemap. When creating a vector tile layer you are required to use an AGSOL tiling scheme. "At this time, only the ArcGIS Online/Bing Maps/Google Maps tiling scheme is supported, so your map must use this scheme." I could change my basemap to an ESRI tiled map but it makes the Zoom to Scale widget unusable the way we'd like to use it. This may be a shot in the dark but thought I'd check here. Thank you for any feedback or information. Cheers, Adam

Hello, We have been asked for a widget that will clear all graphics on a map; including selected features and any graphics drawn by the draw widget. We used to have one in a vendor supplied Silverlight application and users became used to it and are missing that functionality with our WAB applications. First, I wanted to see if anyone is using a custom widget for this purpose. I have not seen one posted anywhere. It may be that we have to develop our own but I wanted to reach out first - in the event someone wants to share! Any ideas welcome. Thanks, Adam

Hello Rebecca, I wanted to follow up on these comments and ask a few questions. It sounds like you are implying that we cannot install WABDE on a server? I have been trying to do just that so we can set up a developer environment that supports more than one developer. That way we could each access the same WAB (in theory). I sat in on a session at the ESRI UC that made this sound possible. However, I have been running into issues trying to get it working on a server. I am working on a server behind our firewall and trying to access our Portal that is on the same server. I can get as far as assigning our Portal and entering the AppID. I even get the green check mark. But, for some reason, the Continue button doesn't do anything. I took a snapshot of the errors that show up in the console on the developer tools for IE. Have you seen an issue like this? I feel so close, but also would like to know if this is even a possibility before I spend too much more time on it. Thanks.
