I can't seem to find much reference to it online. Is there an option, as there was in ArcMap, to edit the description and have it display in the legend? I can't find it anywhere...

After reaching out to ESRI customer service the issue was in the coordinate system, not tiling scheme. I was hosting the vector tiles on ArcGIS online through the 'Share as Web Layer' panel, and selecting the 'Vector Tile' option. Sharing layers in this manner uses the map frame's coordinate system, regardless as to what the layer itself is set to. This was the source of my problems.

I have a series of layers I've published to vector layers in order to create a custom basemap I had intended to use on a series of WebApps I will be producing. The issue arises when I go to add the (vector tile, hosted) layer(s) to the WebMap; ArcOnline complains of coordinate system or tiling scheme conflicts (see the shared image). Some of the layers I've hosted will add to the WebMap, others refuse, and it doesn't seem to be a coordinate system issue. Has anyone else run into this? Fairly new to vector tiles.

Dan Patterson the script is attached to a script tool - yes. It is also nested within a larger script, and as such the parameters are passed in through this larger script.

Thanks Rebecca Strauch, GISP. I am solely trying to get points from vertices, however I don't have the appropriate license to run the Feature Vertices To Points—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop tool. This is a workaround.

I've obtained a script which is meant to establish a point at every vertice within a (line) feature class. Despite my best efforts the script will not run, and returns "AttributeError: DescribeData: Method spatialReference does not exist" (line 19). Hoping someone can help. The script is attached.

Thank you. Yes, the data frame and service layer need to be in the same projection. Layers are okay in different projections it seems.

I'm receiving two errors (below) that need resolution before I will be able to share a map I've created to ArcGIS Online (from ArcGIS Pro's interface). The map document was originally created in ArcMap 10.5(?) and then imported into Pro. I'm using the Canada Lambert Conformal Conic projection with the input layer. I can't for the life of me seem to get past either. I've added a few different base maps but that just yields a different error. Some fresh insight would be very much appreciated.

Hoping to resolve a persistent error I've been receiving when trying to employ raster processes in Python: 010092, Invalid output extent. I'm projecting with Canada Lambert Conformal Conic. I'm fairly confident the syntax is correct; given the fact both the Euclidean Distance and Line Density processes fail with the same input layer, I'm suspicious of the input. I should add that when I run the Euclidean Distance or Line Density processes directly through ArcGIS Pro the processes (seem to) run using the same dataset called as the input in the script. I haven't run the processes all the way through in ArcGIS Pro to confirm this as it's a national dataset and would take substantial time, but it does (start to) run. Fresh perspectives are appreciated.

I have come up with an approach to automate pour point creation with slight setbacks from a given stream's delineated outlet (this was the intent): 1. Create a point layer with points for each vertice in the stream network layer 2. Buffer each vertice a (small) desired amount (i arbitrarily chose 10 metres) 3. Run intersect and create points as the output, this will create a series of points where the buffer intersects the stream layer at the setback amount. 4. Identify which points of intersection are of the desired order or greater. Remove those that are not. 5. Identify the smallest remaining order within the buffer. Any points greater than the smallest order (i.e the stream being flowed into) will be removed. 6. Left with the smallest order points which are greater than the specified minimum order of concern. 7. These are the pour points (automated). I snapped the pour points back half of the original setback (5m). So the pour point should be 5 or so metres from the actual outlet (dependent on the shape of the stream), which makes for clean delineation. Hoping the brief description is clear.

I have been trying to run both the Line Density and Euclidean Distance processes within a script and am being given the same error in both cases. Both processes will use the same layer as input. The coordinate system for the input appears to be fine. Any thoughts? ****EDIT**** I have included the coordinate system info. below.

I'm not, the script is certainly not entering the statement at line 22 or 25. I'm thinking this is the issue, but I can't identify any issues with the syntax? Further, if I am entering the statement at 21, should I not be entering the else if the 'if' on 22 is repeatedly false? I would expect some error if I were appending to a file which doesn't exist...
