Key, I was having the same issue. I didn't realize that it was a group layer issue until I found your post. I did some experimenting and discovered that this issue started with the 4.22 release of the SDK. I substituted different webmaps with or without group layers and the behavior definitely changes. It works at 4.21, but not at 4.22. I did a workaround instead of setting the ground to world-elevation that works. Here is the code: const elevationWidget = new ElevationProfile({
view: view,
profiles: [{type: "query",
source: new ElevationLayer({url: "https://elevation3d.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/WorldElevation3D/Terrain3D/ImageServer"}),
color: "orange",
title: "Ground elevation"}],
visibleElements: {selectButton: false},
unit: "feet",
container: "elevation-container"
}); This works with the group layers and should resolve your issue. Regards, Tom

I figured out how to make this work. I was able to embed icons instead of the text. Here is how it looks now, which is exactly what I was trying to do. Here is the code: <calcite-segmented-control id="cboStylePoint" selection-mode="single" scale="s" width="full">
<calcite-segmented-control-item value="circle" checked><calcite-icon icon="circle" scale="s"></calcite-icon></calcite-segmented-control-item>
<calcite-segmented-control-item value="plus"><calcite-icon icon="plus" scale="s"></calcite-icon></calcite-segmented-control-item>
<calcite-segmented-control-item value="diamond"><calcite-icon icon="diamond" scale="s"></calcite-icon></calcite-segmented-control-item>
<calcite-segmented-control-item value="square"><calcite-icon icon="square" scale="s"></calcite-icon></calcite-segmented-control-item>
<calcite-segmented-control-item value="triangle"><calcite-icon icon="triangle" scale="s"></calcite-icon></calcite-segmented-control-item>
<calcite-segmented-control-item value="x"><calcite-icon icon="x" scale="s"></calcite-icon></calcite-segmented-control-item>
</calcite-segmented-control> Cheers! Tom

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I was really wanting a segmented control that just displayed icons and no text. The icons would be enough in this context. Is there a way to not show the value of the segmented control item?

Greetings, I am trying to use a calcite-segmented-control and would like to keep it as horizontal as possible. I do see a grid option for the layout property, but using it has no effect on the control. I was expecting it to create a two row, three column grid of items. What am I missing to make this work properly? Thanks very much!

Thanks very much! Much easier to add one event listener than one for each item.

Kitty, You may have heard me smack my forehead... I figured out my issue. I was trying to set the class on the panel and not the actual contents. Once I was setting it correctly it is working perfectly. Regards, Tom

Greetings, I had updated one of my apps to use the new beta 99 and the expected colors for components are all just using defaults no matter what color property is set to. Is there something that I am missing that allows colors for components? I took the theme switcher tutorial and added a chip (color red) and a button (color neutral) and they both just display default colors. The codepen for this is at: Test Components beta 99 color (codepen.io) Any suggestions for making the colors work properly? Best regards, Tom

Thanks very much for the quick response! Here is the code. I wanted you to see all of it as I may have something that may be interfering in some way with the scrolling. Thanks very much!

Greetings, I am also trying to do this and I am stuck. Inspecting the scrollbar I find that the class .content-wrapper is set to auto and I can't figure out a way to make it hidden. When I update it to hidden in the debugger the large scrollbar to the left disappears. Any thoughts on how I override the .content-wrapper class? Thanks very much! Regards, Tom

When using calcite-input, the type is reflected on the input component, but on in the HTML. So when I use the input type of number and inspect the element in the developer tools, the input type is "text". The reason I am asking for this is that when I use this component on an iPad, I would like a numeric keyboard presented. With the HTML element being "text", an alpha keyboard is always displayed and I have had to an HTML input tag instead of calcite-input component. I would much rather be able to use the calcite-input component in my app for field use, but the input tag gets me the right keyboard. I have an example app for you to view and see the difference: Calcite Input Type (yakimawa.gov) Best Regards, Tom

Wiley, I am just using map click handlers in the traverse widget. You could easily add snapping functionality by using the 3.x JSAPI editor widget and enabling snapping. Use the SnappingManager module and make sure your control points are in a feature layer. By holding down the control key when placing a point, you will see the crosshairs display as you get near a control point. When you click with the crosshairs displayed, the point will be snapped to that location. Here are some links that might be helpful: Edit | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.33 Default editing widget | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.33 Map | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.33 SnappingManager | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.33 Good luck on your project! Tim, I am not using the print plus widget. I just use the out of the box print widget for WAB. It appears to be working correctly: No stacking and the labels are properly rotated too. Regards, Tom
