I am having the same problem as well. When something is highlighted via the enhanced search widget (like a polygon), the fill is suppose to print as transparent. However, when I print to ArcGIS Server 10.1, the fill is a turquoise with no transparency. Haven't found a solution yet.

Hello Robert, I upgraded to the newest version of the widget today (your most recent release), and it solved my issue. If I have any other issues in the future I will be sure to include which version of the widget and flex viewer that I am using. I appreciate your patience. Have a good day.

Adam, I am not sure what you are asking... Can you provide screen shots and use a paint type program to highlight/annotate what you are asking about? I apologize for not being succinct in my description before. I attached the screenshot showing what I'm talking about. Basically, whenever something is highlighted from the esearch widget, I want the highlighting indicator outline to be darker/more opaque. That way the selected parcel sticks out more on the map. I'm sure this is a simple fix, but I can't seem to find the piece of code that changes this. Thanks again.

Is there a quick way to change the color/opacity of the selection when searching with the widget? I've only been able to change they symbol within the widget, but not the selection from the widget if that makes sense. I'll keep searching and testing. Any help is appreciated. - Adam

Adam, Are you using Google Chrome?... If you Google "Google Chrome Print Issues" you will find Lots of issues that Chrome has with their print preview feature. Robert, You were spot on. Tried the viewer in IE and was successful. From now on I'm going to test everything in multiple browsers. Thanks again!

I've deployed the widget and everything appears to be working just fine. My only problem right now is when I use the "print" button, the resulting dialog is blank and nothing appears. Have you encountered this issue before and do you know of any fixes? Attached is my config file. Thanks!

I currently have a problem getting the desired result out of network analyst. The project: I'm doing an network analysis of the interstate system in the state of michigan to determine the number of exits 20 miles upstream and downstream of each rest area in the state. I have a network dataset built for the roads, and shapefiles for rest area and exit locations. Currently I'm using closest facility to determine which exits are near the rest areas (within 20 miles). My problem is that I cannot get network analyst to only look at the road that the facility is on. For example: I have a facility located on I-75 in Detroit. When I run the closest facility analysis, it finds routes 20 miles upstream and downstream on I-75, and every other route on the network within the 20 mile allowance (I-94, m-10, I-96..etc). Is there an easy way to write a script or use restrictions to keep the analysis on the road the facility is on? Any help is appreciated. -Adam
