Hello! Currently, support for 360 videos is under consideration and is possible in future releases of the product. There is no specific documentation or roadmap at the moment. However, adding the 'idea' of 360 video support to the ideas.arcgis.com site would be helpful and it could give other users an opportunity to support the idea by upvoting, etc.

Thank you for reaching out with this information regarding your live stream configuration. This is all very helpful for our team as it allows us to understand your workflows and what you are trying to achieve. It may be easier to talk through the problem with the metadata over a call if you are willing to do so. Please feel free to email me at tmerhige@esri.com if you would like to set up a time to walk through this. Again, thank you for your patience and for providing this information.

Hey Markus, To help answer your questions: Does ArcGIS Video Server also work with linearly referenced videos stemming from pipeline inspection done in water/wastewater pipes? Yes, as long as it is of the supported video file type. Depending on the type of metadata within the video, the geospatial telemetry information available will be determined. If you have sample data/video you are willing to share and any information on the workflow you are trying to accomplish, I'd be more than happy to take a look and help test your workflow in ArcGIS Excalibur. If so, do I understand it correctly that, in addition to ArcGIS Video Server, there is always some form of client needed, i.e. ArcGIS Excalibur? Could a client for a partner solution also be built based on the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript? With a quick search, I could not find a module in the SDK-reference. As of this time, yes a client is required. At the initial release, this client is ArcGIS Excalibur. In future releases, it will be ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS AllSource with additional clients such as the Web Map Viewer and other web apps on the roadmap. In terms of third-party apps, this is on our roadmap to be able to support, but the initial support will be Esri client apps.

With the release of ArcGIS Video Server, you can now publish and analyze ArcGIS Video Layers within ArcGIS Excalibur. ArcGIS Excalibur allows users to publish video files from various data sources as ArcGIS Video Layers and these layers can be consumed in Excalibur for further analysis. To go through a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this, please see the Get Started With ArcGIS Video Server tutorial.

This helped resolve an issue on my end... Just had to make sure the web adaptor being referenced in the URL had administrative access.
