Hi Chris, My name is Tim and I work on the Maritime team at Esri. We have developed an unsupported application for viewing S-57 data in ArcMap. It renders the data from the source files in S-52 symbology. It is a simple install and works on the 9.x and 10.0 platforms. It is not attached because of size limitations. Please contact me directly and let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks, Tim tkearns@esri.com

Hi Stefan, I'm following up on this very old thread to see if you still need assistance. Please let me know if you do. There have been some changes made to ArcGIS 10 that may allow for what you're asking for. Also, we have a free utility that might be useful for you. Cheers, Tim tkearns@esri.com

Hi, From your screenshot, it appears as though you're using the ESRI Nautical Solution S57>Geodatabase tool. Is this correct? Unfortunately, this tool cannot import 'update files' which is what you're describing you're having problems with. We have a few options for you: 1) have the data producer make a new 'edition' for you which will produce a new *.000 file 2) use our S-57 viewer which reads ENC files natively and will allow you to copy/paste features into a geodatabase (I can send to you directly - tkearns@esri.com) 3) use the data interoperability extension to load the ENC data Let me know if any of these seem like viable options. Tim
