Hey Localmaps team! We use Localmaps for LIM reporting and are looking at rolling out a few more different types of reports. At the moment our LIM report map layouts are hard coded with eg. 'Land Information Memorandum - date xx-xx-xxxx' in the footer . We'd like to use these maps across other reports without creating new map/print layouts with hard coded footers. I've tested an alternative using a text box in the footer of a word document template, and this looks to bring the text through to the map in the report PDF, but it is sitting below\obscured by map page as shown in the image below. Do you know if this is something that should work, or could be put on the roadmap? Cheers Terry

There's an option in the print widget for the user to force the scale when exporting to a file Or via URL parameter but this still only zooms to the nearest scale level of the underlying basemap, format is something like ¢er=1614361.675%2C5423962.21%2C2193&scale=10000 I'm not sure of any other way unless you had those scales in your basemap cache, or you had no basemap in the webmap at all (we used to be able to do that on the old viewers, but not sure if that is possible these days?!)

@FranklinAlexander @JamesGarner Hello, we have had same issue but with Classified renderer on 32bit floating point data. We were able to set up Symbology in ArcMap, save this to a Raster Function Template and apply that to the mosaic dataset in ArcGIS Pro and publish. I first had to rebuild the mosaic in arcmap as compatibility issue (it was built in Pro) ...

Hi @AndyBurns2 @MichaelAugust , apologies for dragging this one up. We are experiencing similar frequent logouts after upgrading from 10.7.x to 10.9.1 - Just to clarify @AndyBurns2 - Are you saying in your case that the fix was to separate portal and server into their own app pools? For background info, in our case - we were on 10.7.x and were having some portal freezing issues during periods of high use, which would force app pool to restart and force a reauthentication, our local ESRI support separated the portal/server web adaptors into separate app pools, which fixed that issue. Then the upgrade from 10.7.x to 10.9.1 brought in the 'authentication loop issue' with WAB apps, which our local support patched, or at least enabled us to not go into an infinite loop. But now, at 10.9.1 we are seeing frequent logging out of apps as per your issue. We have a call in with local support but just thought I'd share our experience too. Cheers

Hi, we have a report of a user using Android phone chrome browser 89.0.4389.105. Would also be interested in any workarounds for that 🙂 I saw this post linked and look like the chrome developers may roll back this change 1192449 - Mouse pointer event return clientX/Y as double data type - chromium

Be interested to know if you resolved this? I've also been having issues trying to get an offline basemap to work on Windows 10 s123 field app. So far trying all methods except for loading 'media' folder. I can get it to work from my maps library on s123 Connect but not the device. Going to Settings\Map and Browsing for the library often does random things like defaulting to a Survey123.exe folder and not the actual folder I picked. The same basemap & survey downloaded to an android device works fine.

Have to agree, we'd like to use a stylus with our windows 10 devices but without a way to zoom in and out, we are left with using less precise (sometimes grubby) fingers and the pinch zoom, or switching between the two

Hi, good suggestion, I was looking for ways to zoom in/out with a stylus on windows 10. There is an idea in ArcGIS ideas might be worth an up vote https://community.esri.com/ideas/13932-zoom-widget-in-windows-10

+1 for this idea, ~20gb basemap - would be good to have this shared amongst all device users. We are using windows 10.

An update on this. I've reloaded a 10.1 version of desktop. Dropped and recreated the sde rasters to 10.3.1 enterprise geodatabase, they are now visible at the 10.1 client.

Hi all We have a situation where 10.1 server/desktop/arcpy cannot see newly created SDE Rasters in a 10.3.1 Enterprise Geodatabase (SQL Server 2014). We have existing SDE Rasters in this 10.3.1 geodatabase that 10.1 Desktop can see. The difference being the method of loading: 1. The layers that 10.1 cannot see were loaded using 10.3.1 Desktop Client 'Mosaic to New Raster' tool . 2. The layers that 10.1 can see were 'copied\imported' using a 10.3.1 Desktop Client, but from a 10.0 SDE Geodatabase, I'm aware of the client/geodatabase compatibility matrices. I expect that there is some new function that has been implemented at 10.2 for SDE raster but I cannot find what it is. Does anyone know if there is a patch or anything that can be applied to 10.1 to address the issue. Or something I can do when I load the Raster, ie. not use certain environment settings at 10.3.1? Any ideas? ps. - We have some custom tools and flex viewer which restricts us from upgrading the 10.1 version of ArcGIS in the short term. Cheers Terry

Hi Rebecca, Thanks for replying and trying this out for me The server is ours and sits within our DMZ. We haven't changed the Server name or the Webadaptor. This particular user is external to our organisation and so is coming in from outside, and does not have ArcGIS software other than the ArcGIS for AutoCAD plugin. He has been able to connect in the past, and I'm leaning toward some sort of proxy or firewall issue. But just trying to see if I can get some more info before going to our tech support. Interesting that you could not connect from ArcCatalog. I have been able to successfully connect to the ArcGIS Server via ArcCatalog from a 3g mobile wifi hotspot no problem (external to our organisation) using this http://www.topofthesouthmaps.co.nz/arcgis But I can't connect via ArcCatalog by referencing port 6080 as suggested in the ArcCatalog connection tip http://www.topofthesouthmaps.co.nz:6080/arcgis The rest services directory http://www.topofthesouthmaps.co.nz/arcgis/rest/services seems to work ok for me too. Cheers Terry
