Dear All, I am using ArcView 10.0. I have one point layer with numerous points to be labelled in one mxd. The following environments have been set. label weight = high feature weight = low scale = automatic label ranking = high. checked = remove duplicate labels. Now my idea is to label those point features but its not labeling despite checking the "label feature". where ever there is confusion for label to appear due to lack of space, i need labels to appear not crowded but may be few labels appearing. This is not happening. Will appreciate if you could give some advises. Thank you so much Wangdi

Dear Worthy Helpers, I am soliciting a small help from the experts here. I had been using ArcMap 10 to edit my point feature layer which is Geodatabase. I tried adding points to the existing feature attribute table giving MGRS and Lat/long and other information. After entering and saving in the attribute table, i am not able to see visually on the view window. Secondly, in the same editing mode, i tried adding the points spatially (without using feature attribute table) but its getting added on the fly and doesn't seem to be getting added on the attribute table. Would appreciate for your kind suggestions. Many thanks and Happy New year 2012. Regards Thinley

Dear William and James, Many thanks for your direction. Its working fantastic. Secondly, i have used the world countries showing all the borders. After projecting to the Vertical perspective, by default the re-projected view is giving the African continent on the front. If i have to focus on India and its neighbors, how do i rotate view so that i get the India on my front view? Once again thank you so much Thinley

Of lately, I had been trying to prepare a map inset showing the political boundaries of world along with grids. But the problem i faced is how do i prepare the map inset in circular shape (not normal Rectangular shape). It has to be something similar to the globe we look at it. I have seen some inset map with circular shape but i had been exploring all the means to do it without any success. I wish someone could help me out. Many thanks Thinley
