Working as expected Setup: Dual address Range locator created by ArcGIS Desktop Some road segments (representing divided, one way streets) have an address range set for the Right From and Right To and 0 set for the Left From and Left To. When reverse geocoding locations on either side of those roads returns an address within the non-zero range. Non-working Setup: StreetAddress locator built with ArcGIS Pro Same Roads feature class When reverse geocoding locations on zero range side of those roads returns an address with 0 with the road name. Locations on the other side will return valid addresses.

Removing and re-adding the standby did not resolve the issue for me. Once I tried re-registering the standby server, I saw different errors related to not being able to replicate from the primary database, and I noticed that no postgres Server processes would start. I unregistered the standby again and the workaround I came up with was to restart the data store Windows Service every 2 hours via a scheduled task. When looking at the Task Manager on the primary, I saw more than 150 instances of PostgreSQL Server running at the time of these errors. If I restarted the service, the number went down, but then increased over time and at about 2 hours and 15 minutes, it reached over 150 again and the hosted services were returning errors again. I created a Premium Support ticket and they were not able to help or identify a cause. After about 3 weeks, I stopped the scheduled task to try and recreate the issue, but it did not happen again. I added the standby again and this time it replicated without any issue. The connections seemed to be from webhooks, which I do not have enabled and Esri does not have an explanation for why webhooks are connecting to my data store.

I am getting the same errors in the database logs for the data store. When it happens, all hosted feature services fail to load. In my situation, it seems to happen when the standby data store is started (I noticed that the postgresql processes never start on that server when I start the Data Store Windows service). When I stop the standby ds and restart the primary ds, everything works. I will remove and re-add the ds to try and resolve this, then update this thread with results.

Thanks for responding, @DerekLaw. I verified that the Portal and Servers were removed, but the 200+ services were still showing. I was using version 2023.0 of Monitor and version 10.7.1 of Portal/Server. After several days of still seeing the old services, I upgraded to 2023.3 hoping whatever problem was causing this behavior would be resolved, but all is the same. I have since uninstalled and am starting over again. Thankfully, I was waiting to add the new environment (version 11.1 of Enterprise) before going all out on setting up alerts and analysis.

After discussing with my Account Manager and hearing from the Product Team, I was directed to create an enhancement for this. The info is below. Please request to be added if you also require this functionality. ENH-000164075: Enhance the performance of the New Street address locator role to return addresses where no house numbers are defined similar to the Desktop locators (Classic Locator: Dual Range street).

Hello, We have moved our enterprise to a new environment (New servers, new version, new URLs). Before adding the new components, I wanted to clean up by getting rid of the old system. I have unregistered the Portal and Server components from ArcGIS Monitor, but I still see the Services associated with those sources listed and no way to unregister or remove them. I could not find anything in the documentation, Technical workshops, nor the Esri Community. Is there a way to do this, or do I have to blow out the Postgres database and start over?

I don't think this is available in the current or Classic version of the Web Map viewers. I can only recommend adding the data to a map service where data that is 0-2 minutes old has bold symbology, but that will only be noticeable if the new features are in the current extent of the map when viewing. Webhooks might also be utilized, but I haven't given much thought on how to do that.

Hi Cody, Are you managing the AGO org that you plan to collaborate with or is this an external org? There are a few different ways to do what it sounds like you are asking for, depending on the type of service you are sharing. If you don't want users to have an account or enter credentials, the info in the service will in some way be accessible to everyone, even if you prevent them from editing. Otherwise you can decide if they log in with Enterprise accounts or AGO to access the service. There are many questions to be asked and answered before determining the best way to set this up. Hopefully getting on a call with ESRI Support can help you find the right solution.

In addition to what Marcelo stated, setting a higher log level will mean that more CPU utilization will go towards capturing events and writing them to the log file. The log files will also grow in size faster and storage will fill up faster, depending on how much the system is being used. How that affects your system will depend on what resources are available to your servers and how frequently requests are being made.

Yes, I would like an address returned from the reverse geocode operation, as explained here. I sent a private message with a sample URL and info on the apps using the service.

For reverse geocode, I want an address returned. The service will also be used for regular geocoding where an address is sent, I want an x,y returned. It will be accessed mostly via REST requests.

Yes, that is how the Desktop locator had been working. Reverse geocoding a location on either side would return a valid address in the range of that segment. returning a StreetName addr_type would not be helpful as most of the streets that are experiencing this issue are miles long, so that does not help in identifying location. The workaround I have implemented is to export the road feature class to a file geodatabase, and do the following: Select road segments where left to and left from are 0 Calculate the left fields to equal their right side equivalent Make a new selection of road segments where right to and right from are 0 Calculate the right fields to equal their left side equivalent Then I built the locator with this feature class, but the settings This allows the same result returned for locations on either side of the street and from preliminary tests, geocoding still returns locations on the correct side of the street. I hope I'm not missing anything that could cause problems. I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.1 and Enterprise 11.1

Hello, We are moving our Enterprise GIS environment to 11.1, and have migrated to ArcGIS Pro-created files to publish. I have noticed a strange behavior with a StreetAddress locator set up in Pro compared with the US Dual Range Address locator. We have some road segments that represent divided, one-way streets, so either the right or left to and from attributes are blank. With the ArcGIS Desktop locator, you could reverse geocode a location on either side of the road and get the same address result. With ArcGIS Pro, if you reverse gc a location on the left side of a road that has left from/to set to 0, the result will be 0 Street name or 0-0 Street name. Is there a setting that can make this work like it did in Desktop, or does this require overhauling our data? How does that affect Next-Gen e911 compatibility? @ShanaBritt I'm hoping you have a solution for this.
