Some time ago I purchased a Personal Use license in order to get acquainted with ArcGIS Pro, since at my workplace I am tied to use ArcGIS Desktop. I found that ArcGIS Pro is really worth to deal with and I hope that sooner or later at my workplace we well get Pro licenses, as well. My brother who is working at the water management public administration is in the same situation, tied using ArcGIS Desktop at his workplace. Since he is a big ArcGIS fan, my idea was to purchase and give him - as birthday present - an another personal use license for one year in order to let him "play" with ArcGIS Pro. But there are two questions arising: 1. Is it possible for me to purchase a second license for personal use under my Account and within my ESRI organisation? 2. Can I invite an another user into my ESRI organisation and grant permission for him to use this license exclusively? I would appreciate an authentic answer! Thanks in advance! Gergely

I made a customised toolbar gathering together the Reference Scale functions but for this I miss very much a new command working similarly to the map scale dropdown menu, where you could select the new reference scale or set by hand, without the need to go to the Data Frame Properties window.

Yes, that possible, but in many cases it requires too much effort. Instead a built-in set of symbols which in addition can be extended by your own symbols makes this much easier.

It is nice and comfortable in ArcGIS Desktop to have a predefined built-in set of polygon outline styles when one would like to simply and quickly differenciate some polygons from others by their outline styles. Also, it is useful to have a similar built.-in style, when just minor adjustments should be made on it to meet your needs. This is more useful, when one would like to use complex composite outline style using style layers. Alas, this possibility is missing in ArcGIS Pro and I would appreciate to have it in the coming versions!

Thank you very much to deal with my problem, which may be much easier to solve than I think! I am sorry to be too much enthusiastic and less detailed . Actually your screenshot is the best example. I could find easily the properties of polygon symbology were I can choose among the predefined fills: But when the customization of the outline comes in I can't find similar built-in options, which are available for line features, like this: What I could do is simply set line color and width OR compose myself from symbol layers like below, which sometimes requires too much efforts: In many cases the built-in outline styles are good enough to use, or just need some minor adjustment. I'm quite familiar with Desktop version but green rookie with Pro Thank you in advance!

How can I choose symbology for polygon outline from the built-in line symbology gallery in Pro, as it is ArcGIS Desktop. As far as I seen now, if I wanted a composite line symbol for polygon outline, I have to build it by myself from symbol layers.
