I have a select multiple question for users to select the lakes they use. Later in the survey, I have a select one question asking about which of those lakes pertains to a specific activity - is there any way to use the previous choice list responses as the pared-down version of the select one options?

I apologize if this is somewhere in this thread already but is there a detailed guide for someone unfamiliar working with REST API on how to use the API in ArcGIS Online to add one feature service as a related feature class to another. The two services I need to relate are a line feature service and a workforce assignments layer generated from the line feature service: The end goal is to have the line feature layer that is generating the assignments layer relate back to the assignments in workforce so you can see work status for the full feature, and create a kind of "work log" for the line features. If there is a simpler/other workaround for this let me know. line feature service:https://services.arcgis.com/hNKc1r3SBL6SVC6I/arcgis/rest/services/Winter_Haven_Street_Sweeping_Miles/FeatureServer https://services.arcgis.com/hNKc1r3SBL6SVC6I/arcgis/rest/services/assignments_28181aca2529487a976fc8dc8c4e9ae6/FeatureServer assignments service: https://services.arcgis.com/hNKc1r3SBL6SVC6I/arcgis/rest/services/assignments_28181aca2529487a976fc8dc8c4e9ae6/FeatureSe… I've found the API input below but am unsure how to proceed. I can provide you with the JSON for each feature service mentioned if that's helpful! Thanks!

Hi, I am wondering if this is tested/usable with opening polygon surveys in the web form. I have tried the following URL in the custom pop-up to open a form, and it flashes as if trying to open something but won't actually open. When testing just the base URL call with itemID only it still does not open in the web form as expected. Additionally, I'm not sure this is possible but it would be great if there were a way to populate the polygon geometry based on an existing feature in the survey, but still have it not edit that existing record? The intended use case for this survey is to record attendee samples in a small gird of open event space and calculate estimated attendance for various events. For this to happen the simplest way for our Events Coordinator would be to open a web map with the sampling grids, use the geolocate feature to find her current location and click the sampling grid she is currently in to open a survey to record the attendance in that sample grid, and based on the number of grids for that park, calculate the total estimated attendance. The below URL call outlines the fields needed for this and the feature class the survey is built from is available at https://mywinterhaven.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=c065e443fce2451982a6e349292064e0 arcgis-survey123://?itemID=063e7d330ca3448ea235a15206c0d2f9&field:GRID_ID={GRID_ID}&field:Park_Name={Park_Name}&field:GridArea={GridArea}&field:TotalParkArea={TotalParkArea}&field:NumberofGrids={NumberofGrids} Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Hi, When trying to add the embedded content to a dashboard, it will not let me use a feature layer by URL, instead of when I select that option it asks me to choose an existing layer from my content. Leaving it as a document embedded type disqualifies it from actions. Is this able to be worked around? Also the functionality I'm looking for would be that anybody without signing in could open and edit the form. The sharing settings are set up to do that but sometimes it will ask to log in anyway? Thanks for any insight you can provide!

This would make workflows transferring existing data to the story-telling format a lot easier. A lot of the data we have that could be used in a story already has a lot of the descriptions and photos as attachments and fields, or if they don't it's simple to set them up in desktop and push them to a hosted layer online, but having to then manually transfer these to a story map is a tedious workflow, particularly for data that gets updated frequently.

Hi James, I'm running into this same problem with a pulldata calculation. The basic functionality desired is a two-way pulldata based on fields Common Name and Scientific Name. I have a csv attached with common names, scientific names, species code, and genus. The user wants to be able to type in either a common or scientific name into the select one box, and from either of those generate the dependent fields (code, common/botanical, and genus). Is this possible to do with a workaround somehow? I have tried creating duplicate hidden fields which paste the select one answers as text, and reference those instead but am still getting the error referenced above.

This might be asking a bit much from this functionality, and I just want to say that your team's support & development of it has been awesome - I was wondering if there was a way to have a text field with an address populate the locator box in the geopoint question. It's not a huge workflow issue if not, it's just that with several web-based browsers on mobile devices the geopoint question can be a little cumbersome to find the locator box, and we are planning on using survey123 to collect address information of event participants, so want their exit form process to be simple & quick. If they could just enter the address in one box and have the locator find it automatically it would shorten some of the confusion & generational technology gaps we experience at events.

I agree that this would be useful, as well as adding a few more placement adjustment options, such as remove duplicates within a fixed distance for line features that may have many small parts together, but only need to be labeled once or twice. Bathymetry layers labeling is the example that I am thinking of specifically, but street names in custom basemaps as well

Hi James, Thank you for the reply. If Collector doesn't support Arcade expressions is there another language such as python we can use to reference fields that we want to pass? Or is this tutorial only relevant for desktop use? I saw you mentioned above that you need an X & Y field in the table. In my case, my survey is already published and has the X&Y coordinate stored together as a string in one of the fields, but to republish with separate coordinate fields would mean having to lose & replace our quite substantial data. Is there no other workaround for passing location?
