We do the obfuscating in the pre-build event of the project which has the Config.esriaddinx file. The only other thing in that project is a dockable window and a couple of buttons. What tool are you using for obfuscating in the pre-build event?

We have to provide an organization a ArcMap addin which is written in C#. It contains some algorithms that we would like to keep it to ourselves. You know esri addin is actually a zip file you can unzip it and find the dll which means you can extract and decompile it. It turns out you can not change the stuff in the package and rezip it.It would not be properly installed after. So it means I cannot obfuscate the code and replace the dll in the addin file. Any ideas?

Is there a way to remove M and Z values from featureclass using ArcObject? I know I can do it with python to export the featureclass to another gdb by disable M and Z values in enviroments settings. I just want to know is there a better way to do it without exporting data, and I want to do it using C# and ArcObject. I cannot find the right interface. Any helps?

I have a model of pylon stands on a DEM in ArcGlobe 10. The place where it stands is a kind of slope, at least it is what I see in ArcGlobe. The higher ground is 3.5008 meters high, the lower ground is 3.49. The difference is only 0.01m. I cannot believe what I see. There should not be a slope at all. So I set the vertical Exaggeration in GLobe Properties. I choose globe surface to 10x exaggeration. Then I measure Height difference, the result is 10 meters. That means the default none exaggeration is 100 times exaggeration. Have you guys encountered this kind of problem?

I have some pylons draped on a dem. I want to connect powerlines among them, so I need elevations of all the pylons. If there is no dem, elevations are all zero.

How to get the elevation of a multipatch draped on a DEM? Is it a average of elevations of the extent? Sometimes it seems to be an integer sometimes it seems not. Please help me.
