No, nothing apart from Copy Data Management. I have versioned feature dataset, other users can access one of the version of feature class on their ArcMap Desktop and my script is set to run on scheduler so I only get to know on next day that it failed due to schema lock.

Hi, I am trying to configure web adaptor and portal together but getting this error (screen shot below) I am using a Server with following configuration: OS: Window 2008 R2 Enterprise WebServer: Oracle WebLogic 12c I have installed ArcGIS Server 10.4.1, Web Adaptor 10.4.1, Portal for ArcGIS 10.4.1 and WebLogic 12c on same VM. I can access portal on https://system domain name:7443/arcgis/home/ and web adaptor on https:// system domain name/arcgis/webadaptor Also, WebLogic is running on 80 and 443 port as esri documentation. I can see the web adaptor options IIS is stopped to free 80 and 443 ports. Even it gives the option to put my portal URL, Admin User name and password of admin user. When I put all the portal url, admin username and password and click on Configure, it shows a error message (screen shot on top). UPDATE: After trying with WebLogic 12c, I had given a try to Tomcat 8 and able to configure web adaptor and portal in a single attempt. But my goal is to use WebLogic to host web adaptor. I am new at WebLogic, so any information would help. Thanks

No, it allows me to configure ArcGIS Server10.3.1 with it. But I don't configure it as I want this web adaptor 10.3.1 works with Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1 only.

Yes Paul, I know that I need two separate web adaptors. But I am using web adaptor only for Portal and add ArcGIS Server in the Portal as federated server. Before posting this question on forum, I went through the esri documents on web adaptor. My main problem is I am not able to access web adaptor via system domain name (like: https://system_name.domain.com/arcgis/webadaptor). If I get this, then I think I can be able to configure Portal with web adaptor.

Hi, I have installed the ArcGIS for Server 10.3.1, ArcGIS Web Adaptor (Java Platform) 10.3.1, Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1 and Oracle WebLogic 12c. All installations are on same machine. IIS is disabled on this machine and I have assigned the port 80 to http and 443 to SSL as the pre-requisite for Web Adaptor. Also, I have deployed Web Adaptor on WebLogic. If I try to access the Web Adaptor via https://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor or http://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor, I can able to see the configuration page (pasted the screen shot). But, when I select Portal for ArcGIS option and click next it redirects to https://system_name_domain/arcgis/webadaptor/portal and shows a message "Configuration URL has to be accessed from the same machine as WebAdaptor" ( message screen shot is given below). Again, if I try to access the same via system IP then too I get the same message ("Configuration URL has to be accessed from the same machine as WebAdaptor"). This is strange as I am trying to access the Web Adaptor from the same machine where all the software are installed (listed in first line) and it is happening on both http:// and https:// Here is the Web Adaptor deployment screen shot. If I click on the URLs, that also gives the same message To remove suspicion on IP mapping, I have deployed a sample application and this can be accessible from localhost/application, system_name/application and IP/application. Checked on both http and https. Please help me in setup of Portal for ArcGIS. UPDATE: After a while, I tried the ArcGIS Web Adaptor 10.4 and this time I haven't faced any problem as version 10.3.1. Thanks

Hi, I am working on an application that allows the user to capture attachments and upload it on the ArcGIS layer. It is working fine if I use the "addattachment" method of the API, but I want to do the same operation using http post request which is not working in case of secured layer. Till now, I generated the token but unsure of how to send that token along the http post request.

@Dan O'Neill: I tried your code too but I want to delete the records from REST-end feature service like (http://server:port/arcgis/rest/folder_name/service_name/FeatureServer/0). Can we delete records directly from REST-end in Android? If yes, please help with the syntax.

I am trying to delete feature from feature layer using apply edits by passing a graphic array as input, but it is showing me the error 'unable to complete operation, no adds,updates or deletes were specified'. Also, if I am passing the same graphic for update operation then it is being updated successfully. Following is the code snippet: Map<String, Object> graphicAttributes = new HashMap<String, Object>();
graphicAttributes.put("OBJECTID", 65);
Graphic mfinalGraphic = new Graphic(null, null, graphicAttributes);
arcGISFeatureLayer.applyEdits(null, new Graphic[]{mfinalGraphic}, null, new CallbackListener<FeatureEditResult[][]>() {
@Override
public void onCallback(final FeatureEditResult[][] featureEditResults) {
runOnUiThread(new Runnable() {
@Override
public void run() {
Toast.makeText(MainActivity.this, "Successfully deleted", Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
}
} );
}
@Override
public void onError(final Throwable throwable) {
runOnUiThread(new Runnable() {
@Override
public void run() {
Toast.makeText(MainActivity.this, "Failed to delete", Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
}
});
} }); While tracking on fiddler, I am getting the following request: f=json&deletes=&token=BY26ICX0-KN.... The problem is at rest end if I pass only the object id in f=json&deletes=7&token=BY26ICX0-KN.... then it is getting deleted successfully. But there is no way of passing only object id in apply edit for delete part in Android API. Waiting for a positive reply

The result is csv file (actual result): OBJECTID, TALUKNAME, TALUKCODE 66641350, Ron, RAUN 78520446, Shahdara, DLHI There is no error as the code runs fine for test (small) database. But it takes too long to execute if I use the main (large) database. So, I was thinking to escape the "arcpy.SelectLayerByLocation_management" tool and get the result.

Yes, I am trying to overwrite the existing file on backup sde. This dataset is used by many users for editing or view purpose (Not sure of time). Also, dataset is not versioned and don't have GlobalID in it and I can not change the schema or any other parameter. For this case, I wrote a small python code using arcpy module which runs on scheduler at night to copy the feature datasets. I really want to avoid this copy failure situation. Is there any way to avoid this? Thanks for your reply.

Yes, from ArcMap->Distributed Geodatabase this works fine. The tool from system toolboxes is also works but the tools lacks the more control over the sync as the "Distribute Geodatabase" have.

I have a multiversion view for a feature class. When I add any field in feature class, it does not reflect on its multiversion view. I have to manually right click on feature class -> Manage and then click on Enable SQL Access to reflect changes. Is there any way to automate this through Python?
