Does anyone have an answer for this issue? I am also having the same problem with a vector tile package in a .net Quartz Runtime application.

Hi Lucas I did some more testing and I think it may be something to do with a cellular enabled iOS device. On an iPad regardless of whether I have cellular data switched off and wifi off or airplane mode it still returns true (Even waiting a while). On an IPhone 6 it returns false in airplane mode but still returns true when cellular data is off and wifi is off.

Lucas Just built your app and deployed it to an IPad. It does not work for me. I also ran it in OSX and it does not work there either. I checked my iPad and it is actually 9.2 but the fact that it doesn't work on my mac either is a little strange. Any Ideas? James

Problem is not with building on the mac it is iOS. The iOS kits are now invalid due to some library files missing and not sure why.

I was building a new deployment for an iPad and through the Apple developer site it requested I accept a new license agreement today. When I downloaded a new provisioning profile it updated Xcode and now the build kits for iOS are invalid in QT Creator.

I have an SDE Oracle 11g geodatabase running on my server and just uninstalled arcgis desktop 10 and installed version 10.2.2. When performing a direct connect as the sde user and trying to run the upgrade geodatabase tool I get the message "This 10.0 geodatabase matches the ArcGIS release you are currently using" Anyone know what the problem might be?

I have a dynamic map service that has a group layer with sub layers underneath it. The mxd has the group layer turned off by default and the sub layers are switched on. I then have a treeview that controls switching on and off these layers via the group layer etc When I try to use the identify class within the Silverlight API I populate my IdentifyParameters object with the list of layers (ie the sublayers) but nothing gets returned for the location I am trying to identify even though visibility seems to be OK and the features are displayed on the map. If I set the mxd with the group layer turned on a pass in the exact same layer id's to the IdentifyParameters object it works fine. I would think the layerIds property on IdentifyParameters would operate independently from any visibility on the map so even if something is not being set correctly on the Dynamic layer itself it should still work. Anyone experience a similar problem?

I know you can access the relationships from a feature layer via myLayer.LayerInfo.Relationships but is there a way to perform something similar for tiled and dynamic layers? Seems like all the information is there but the LayerInfo class is missing the property.

I am trying to reproduce some code in Silverlight that I originally wrote in the Flex API. Basically I am drawing a polyline on the map and need to capture the coordinate of each mouse click as I create the line. The approach I have taken is to add an event handler to the map mouse click and then capture each map click coordinate as I'm drawing. The problem is that this event seems to get disabled as soon as the draw object is enabled and therefore the event handler never gets fired. I am also using the map's mouse move event which does not seem to get affected the same way by the draw object. This was not the case in Flex so I'm wondering whether this is intentional and if anyone has any suggestions on how to tackle this. I did look at the events on the draw class to see if there was anything there I could use but didn't see anything that would work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. James

We seem to be having a problem using > or < in queries against our ArcGIS Server 10 map services. The problem originally started when trying to set the where clause in the query from our flex application to something like OBJECTID>1. Setting it to something like OBJECTID=12345 works fine. I then tried this from the query html page for the rest endpoint and got a similar error when using the Query (Get) button on the page . The Query (Post) button works fine. This also eliminated the problem from being something wrong with the Flex API. From the query page The error basically give the internet explorer page not found error and the URL being sent is http://server1/ArcGIS/rest/services/App_MapServices/Electric_Distribution/MapServer/2/query?text=&geometry=&geometryType=esriGeometryPoint&inSR=&spatialRel=esriSpatialRelIntersects&relationParam=&objectIds=&where=esri_id%3E1&time=&returnIdsOnly=false&returnGeometry=true&maxAllowableOffset=&outSR=&outFields=modified_date&f=html[/url] When trying a similar query against one of ESRI's example map services everything seems to work fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know of a setting that maybe we missed when setting up the Map Service. Everything worked fine for us at 9.3.1 Thanks In Advance
