Is there a way to migrate a story map to an experience ? Is that a logical progression for a story map in order to add more data areas and other information? What is a logical update from a story map to a more interactive web application? Would an Experience be recommended or would a different web app be a better fit?

Thanks for responding. I have them as a single point file already. I used "split by attribute" to create individual point files. What I want to do is create a buffer for each point (which I've done and has resulted in a polygon layer for each point) and then extract (clip) the raster info from an NLCD raster, for EACH point's buffered polygon, resulting in creating each extracted raster as an individual raster. Does that make sense? I can do it individually, but with 97 points (polygons), that takes too long. I'd was hoping to find a batch method for creating all of the raster extractions.

Hello, I need help. I need to create individual raster clips, using a points layer(s), of the NLCD data raster. The clips need to be independent of the others, not just overlapped in same layer. How do I batch process the clipping of the rater using individual point files OR a points layer with all points together. I have the points already in both representations. It is taking too long to extract by mask for each point. Is there another way to do this in batch mode? Any good scripts out there for that?? Thanks for any help with this.

After working with an ESRI representative, Luis, in Esri Case #02678205, we also discussed having the slides show at the bottom of the template and be able to name them so that the viewer could navigate the slides randomly and not just scroll in order. This would make it easier to view the slides that were of interest to the viewer. Thanks for you consideration, Shawna Reid

Yes! Would love to add my ideas! I did discover that indeed 10 or fewer slides will have the navigations dots on the side. However, I have 19 forests that I am trying to represent and share information for, so that limitation is not good for my story map. If that 10 dot limitation could be increased, that would be wonderful!!! Also, as an added idea, it would be equally wonderful to either be able to name the dots, to reflect the name of the slide, or to either show a popup when hovering over the dot to show the name of the slide. Either way would be very informative and help with navigating through the slides. Thank you for responding to my feedback!!! Shawna Reid

There needs to be some navigations buttons along the side or below the Sidecar template so that viewers can navigate back and forth and randomly through multiple slides within the template without having to resort to scrolling ONLY.

I am creating a side car section within a larger story map. I've created multiple maps in the context column in order to show specific layers in each map. When switching back and forth between the maps, the legends do not update correctly. Maps are keeping the legend attributes and symbology from a previously viewed map. How can I correct this? Is this a bug that hasn't been fixed yet?

We have a paper map of the southern states with dot tally points that are supposed to be by county. The county boundaries are not on the map. I need to scan the map, georeference it, and then overlay county boundaries to get the dots within the county lines. These dots are NOT geographic locations, but put in the counties arbitrarily.

Hello, I’ve tried what they said to try. I am running ArcGIS Pro 2.4.2 I’ve double-clicked the file and it opens up Pro but does not add anything to the map/screen. Do you know of another way or if anyone else is having this same issue??
