no, i have the features duplicated depending on the type map you are looking for. for example, if you are looking for a sectionalizing storm map you would turn on the breaker features that are labeled Sectionalizing Storm Maps and you would repeat this process for other maps, the breaker feature is duplicated to correspond to the maps. i hope i have explained that well.

i have read a couple of threads from a couple of years ago and i looks like i have the same issue. we have a service that is consumed in the flex viewer, i has points that are duplicated on a couple of layers and they retrieve different pdf maps. the points have a hyperlinked field and i configured the popup to retrieve a png file and apply the hyperlink to it, it has just stopped working last week. we still run flex 3.1 and i use the application builder, i have attached a word document to illustrate how i have configured the pop up in the past that worked. i really don't know what changed.

Without warning most of my users are unable to login to the Flex Viewer application on our intranet. We are running ArcGIS Server 10.1 and we restarted our web gateway server several times. Our windows credentials are used to login to the website in house. Only a handful of our users are able to login and view the map layers. Most of us pull up the viewer and type in our credentials and the login screen just keeps reappearing. Any thoughts? Ideas? is your service locked? i had that happen to me and the ArcServer service was locked even though it looked unlocked. simply go to the service and lock it let it save and restart the service and then unlock it and let it save and restart again

I have a map document that i made a service out of that has all of my layer optimized at a specific Flex scale. For example, in the pic attached, i have substations at scales 144,448-1,128 with each layers bottom end scale turning off at the next layer. so at scale 72,224, the layer before that(144,448) starts at scale 144,448 and ends at scale 72,224, as you can see in the pic both layers are on. i have even went back and ended the previous layer 1 foot before the scale and they are still on at the same time. i am on 3.1 flex viewer. it hasn't always done this.

Slade, OK, from your first post it sounded like you had already tried to add a wild card to your expression and it was not working. Here is what you are looking for. <value prompt="Example: NAME">upper(NAME) LIKE upper('[value]%')</value> i get the same result, fault 400

Slade, OK, I am not sure what your expression has to do with this forum post then. You do not seem to have any wild card or a like in the expression at all... yes, as i indicated, i want to be able to use a wildcard in my search. as you noted, i do not have one. when i use the syntax above my search widget fails.

Slade, That is standard SQL language that is not GIS specific and definitely not widget version specific. It should work in 3.1. What does your expression look like? Robert, I simply want a wildcard, i realize this post is actually for limiting the returns after the initial user input.

Slade, It looks like you have a 1009 error using either services... I would check the spelling (and CaSe) of the field names. Also in diagnosing ths issue it would be benifical to you to attempt the same exact query using the where clause and out fields directly from your Rest Service Directory page. where in the instructions is an example of using a where clause to pull directly from the rest services directory?
