Thanks for getting back. I'll give the workaround a shot.

I have a very simple Angular application containing a map component. The map renders fine, but the nothing happens when clicking either zoom button. The app is so simple I'm at a loss as to why the zoom buttons aren't working. @AndyGup would you have any pointers? Unfortunately my sample app is too large to upload here.

Thanks Kelly for the reply. Unfortunately it's not related to the popup. I am simply listening for MapView click events then using the points to select feature layer polygons via a server query.

Looking for a way to programmatically disable the default spinner that appears when clicking on a map. An example of the spinner in question is the one that briefly appears just before a popup, as seen in the animated gif attachment. I have a custom implementation of the Sketch tool where the user can select polygons from existing layers and edit them as graphics. Spinners have never shown when selecting polygons until upgrading from jsapi 4.19 to 4.24. Now they randomly appear and it takes an extra click to remove them when they do. How can I control display of this spinner with the api? I can't find any hooks.

If you are converting to ES modules this should work: import IdentityManager from '@arcgis/core/identity/IdentityManager';

My goal is to add a new button to the Sketch widget. I'm starting with the provided sketch.tsx view code. My Angular project is using ES modules so I need to convert all of the imports to @arcgis/core. I've found several cases where declarations do not exist in the code sample below. Is there an available Sketch.tsx available using ES Modules? Is there a way around this problem? // Example original import
import Graphic from "esri/widgets/../Graphic";
// Converted ES module import :)
import Graphic from "@arcgis/core/Graphic"
// These example imports have no ES equivalents :(
import Selector from "esri/widgets/support/Selector";
import { VNode } from "esri/widgets/support/interfaces";
import SketchMessages from "esri/widgets/Sketch/t9n/Sketch"
import { CreateTool } from "esri/widgets/Sketch/support/interfaces";

Thanks for the resources @AndyGup and quick response. What you describe makes sense with main.js being the entry point and webpack doing its thing to split up the files for optimization.

Going to partially answer my question. I ended up copying the 171 files to the root of the html app in addition to the @arcgis/core assets. This fixed all of the errors and was able to display the map web component. However, still looking for a cleaner way of bundling all the files to make deployments cleaner.

I have a very simple Angular app that generates 171 build js files from @arcgis/core. Is there a way to combine these into a single js file that can be referenced in a single html script tag? For some background I'm using Angular Elements to create a native web component from an Angular component containing an arcgis js map. When I drop that web component in a vanilla html page I get console errors about the missing 171 js files. I need to bundle up the 171 files into a singe one but somehow keep the references intact. <!DOCTYPE html>

Hi Mary. I had the same issue with getting logged out. Requiring authentication through Portal to use a Python library is beyond ridiculous. Fortunately there is a workaround. You need to use a dedicated ArcPro single use license on the machine. Good luck!

Dennis I agree this is a serious bug that makes geometry editing nearly impossible. This core functionality has to be addressed in the next release. I was notified the new defect that was created was a duplicate. That's a bit frustrating since I spent substantial time proving the bug to ESRI support and it was already documented. If you would, please escalate bug BUG-000126854. The status of Esri BUG-000128018 - In ArcGIS API for JavaScript, map is panning sporadically on trying to drag a vertex using SketchViewModel widget - that you have been associated with has been changed to Not in Current Product Plan. Public Explanation: Duplicate of BUG-000126854: This is already logged in a previous bug, BUG-000126854 Case Number: 02471209 Duplicate Bug Number: BUG-000126854 If you would like to view additional information about this bug, please login to My Esri https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmy.esri.com%2F%23%2Fsupport%2Fbugs&data=02%7C01%7Cshane.buscher%40fcsamerica.com%7C7a3174a935c64968b55208d7a4115687%7C84f87fe61901453bbb7785fecca08030%7C0%7C1%7C637158266689517484&sdata=41axsceugQvLVd%2BPGi4A2hJg76Dd0lV2HkZyGweu%2Ft0%3D&reserved=0 and enter BUG-000128018 in Quick Search.
