Hi James, I am curious on what other OGC formats would you like to see natively supported in ArcGIS Pro as opposed to using DI Thanks, Sean

I realize this question is from awhile ago but this surface will be supported in the next patch for the 10.4.1 release (which will be available towards the end of next month) as well as the next major release.

The Aviation Charting extension can be used to create a TPC. It does not have a to-spec template for TPC out of the box though. We do have templates for ICAO based charts and in particular, we have one for the Sectional which is similar to a TPC. The folks over at the Esri Defense Mapping team have several templates (like JOG and TLM) and tools that can be used as well to create a TPC but like us they don't have a specific TPC template.

None of the classes nor interfaces for the Aeronautical Solution are exposed. Are you looking to build on top of the Aviation Solution? Is there functionality that is missing that you are looking to develop? Thanks, Aviation team

You are correct, they are based on the Amendment 36. While we do not have the other amendment available as a dropdown in the tool, you can modify the parameters to get the proper amendment 33. If you specify the Airport elevation as 0 and then if you go to the advanced tab, you can modify the primary surface parameters based on the amendment.

At 10.3 we released the Terrain and Obstacle Profile tool. This tool allows users to create elements to visualize the terrain, runway centerline, approach surface, and any obstacles for a given runway. The tool can be configured for both international (ICAO) and domestic (FAA) requirements. This element is used to support various charts such as the ICAO Aerodrome Obstacle Chart -Type A or the Runway End profile sheet in the Airport Layout Plan (ALP). This tool is available to both Airports and Charting customers. Users can customize the look and feel of the element to suit their specification. Settings such as color of terrain, which obstacles to show on the element and grid size are just a few of the settings you can customize. Take a look at the Help for ArcGIS for Aviation for more information: http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/desktop/latest/guide-books/extensions/aviation-charting/what-is-the-arcgis-for-aviation.htm Below is an example of a Terrain and Obstacle profile. Now for the 10.4.1 release, the tool supports a curved approach path for analysis when creating the profile. The curved surfaces can be generated with the Create Curved Approach Surface tool available on the Airports toolbar.

Does it crash when you are running an ETL (Data Interop) tool? Do you also have Charting installed? Thanks, Sean

Here is a link to a white paper about exporting the web scenes. In there, there is a section called "Viewing the 3WS locally". I think this is what you are after. http://downloads.esri.com/support/whitepapers/ao_/J10223_Exporting_ArcScene_Docs_to_3D_Web_Scene.pdf -Sean

GTE can only look at data in your geodatabase. So the only way I can think of to get the current date in GTE would be to have a python script run daily that would calculate a field on your feature class/table that GTE would look at. Does the Dynamic Text element not stay in a fixed location in the layout window? Thanks, Sean

The information that is displayed in GTE is dynamic too so if you don't want to your Dynamic Text , you could create a GTE element that has no border so it looks like a Dynamic Text but you have more options as far a linking to data with GTE than Dynamic text. Thanks, Sean
