Thanks for the answer Mike, I would like to have a more firendly user tool within the UN (as in the previous Geometric Network) but I will have to try it this way if no other option then. Thanks for the code and I will write a feedback if I finally have to use it

Hello Community, My question is about this amaizing error from Utility Network when a Line self intersect itself. My case is that I am having aroun 2.000 errors because the lines starts and finish at the same point connected by a Tee: The thing is that I wouldnt like to split the line generating new Pipes. I have read about change the Z value of one of the vertices but I am afraid this way the line loses trazability or connectivity by one side and this could lead to problems when making Isolating traces (In case of loops with SystemValves). Do you guys have any additional ideas how I could face it? Many thanks in advance!

Hi everybody, I just wonder if there is any way or any tool which helps me to create ServiceLines (Laterals) automatically within my UtilityNetwork. As fas as I remember, there was such a Tool in the previous Geometric Network fo ArcMap. Some ideas about how to do it? Thanks in advance!

Into the Utility Network there are no type of rules that can be configured in order to join objects from the StrucrueLine layer with the PipelineLine layer so that one is completely within the other (As far as I know). This way, even if I am able to snap them together, they are not connected so if the Pipeline is moving, the casing isnt moving with it. This time, the answer from Mike kind of solve my problem but it would be nice to have such a type of rules which maybe it is possible to configure somehow, but I dont know it yet 🙂

As simple as that and it works correctly, brain sometimes tends to see problems in a larger magnitude than they really are 🙂 Thanks a lot for your answer Mike! Appreciate it

Hello everybody, My question is the following, for the Gas Utility Network Solution, I am trying to draw the Pipe Casing which is part of the StructureLine containing the Distribution Line, part of the PipelineLine but there is no way to make snapping between them. Is there anything I can do? The only solution I see here is to write the Casing in a new layer outside the Domain Network but this way I will lose the containment mode and a little bit of integrity of my data since I wanted to have everything withing the main layer of the Utility Network. Thanks in advance.
