I updated to version 3.1 this morning and have found that I can't export layouts to graphic files when opening projects created in a previous version of ArcGIS Pro. When I try it seems to hang with the message 'preparing export'. If I copy layouts and maps into a new project file they export ok. Has anyone else come across this issue at all so far?

I'm trying to set the option for 'Enable ownership-based access control on features' on a Feature Service in ArcMap before publishing the service, however, the option is greyed out. I'm using MS SQL Server Express for the geodatabase. The feature is versioned. Editor tracking is enable and working. Can anyone suggest a reason why the ownership option isn't available? Thanks.

Hello, I wonder if anyone has experience of integrating Wordpress with Portal, such that Portal user credentials can be exchanged with a Wordpress site? As further explanation, I envisage setting up a Wordpress site for a project. When users log in they will be able to access a Web GIS application (from a menu link) secured via Portal, but I don't want them to have to submit a username and password again. Preferably, this could all go through Active Directory, and I know that there are AD plugins for Wordpress. Thanks, Stephen

OK, have just noticed that it must be some sort of compatibility problem. I think IE is set to be compatible with IE8.

Here are the screen grabs. The first one shows my colour customisation working while in Web AppDeveloper - also the sub menu on layers is working. In the second image from the actual application on the web server, the colours change and other interface elements don't work. It seems as though a style sheet isn't being loaded properly. This only happens in IE and not Chrome or Firefox.

Hi Robert, When I'm actually using Web Appbuilder it works fine, but when I deploy the application to the web server, the theme seems to default to Plateau Orange in IE, but picks up the customisations okay in Chrome and Firefox. I'll grab some screen shots to demonstrate.

Hi, I've developed a couple of applications using Web AppBuilder developer edition and they work fine in Chrome and Firefox, but they do not display properly in IE11. I'm using the Plateau Theme. Specifically I have noted the following: The custom colour for the header bar is not used (e.g. .jimu-main-background), instead it defaults to rgb 218 , 77, 30 (orange). In the layers list, the three black dots to the right of the layer name for the sub-menu do not display. The tab to open and close the Attribute table does not display. In the Web AppBuilder itself, these display okay - so am I missing something? Thanks, Stephen

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether Datastore works with all licences for ArcGIS for Server? We have the Workgroup Standard licence and installing datastore and getting it to work is proving problematic: Installing Data Store for Portal for ArcGIS. Thanks. As an addendum, the following error is reported when trying to validate the ArcGIS Data Store managed database in Server manager: The connection property set was missing a required property or the property value was unrecognized. License manager not responding

For ArcGIS for Server you also need to import the SSL certificate if you want use ArcGIS Server with the web adaptor. Enabling SSL on ArcGIS Server when accessed through ArcGIS Web Adaptor—Installation Guides | ArcGIS for Server I've been reading around using enterprise databases with ArcGIS for Server and have read that the Workgroup licence for Server only supports MS SQL Server Express - so does this mean that Postgres (and by association data store) will not work with this licence?

Michael, Thanks for your further pointers, unfortunately I am still having problems with this. I have successfully run the installation of DataStore and I have set the domain user to run the service and set all required permissions on the folders. In ArcGIS Server Manager, ArcGIS_Data_Store [Managed] is visible but on validating, a red exclamation mark appears next to it. In Portal, I cannot upload data and hosted services do not work. Validation of DataStore through the REST endpoint in ArcGIS Server Administrator seems to work OK. Stuck on this one at the moment. One possible issue that I can see is that I get a mismatch error for SSL when accessing https://xxx.xxx:2443/arcgis/datastore - I don't know how to change the SSL certificate that DataStore uses.

I've set it to run using the same domain account as ArcGIS Server, it didn't seem to make a difference.

Hi All, I'm having some problems installing data store for Portal for ArcGIS. When I try to configure data store with my ArcGIS Server site I get the following error message: Could not connect to server on machine 'arcgis'. ArcGIS Data Store or ArcGIS Server on that machine may not be running or the machine is not reachable at this time. When I look at Services on the Windows server, I can see that ArcGIS Data Store is running and I know that ArcGIS Server is running. However, if I go to https://localhost:2443/arcgis/datastore/ I get the following message in the browser: { "error" : { "code" : 403, "message" : "Unable to process this request.", "details" : null } } It seems as though Data Store cannot be accessed on this port. I do have port 2443 and 9876 open in windows firewall, but not sure whether it should be TCP or UDP - have tried both. I'm stuck with this one, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi All, I'm having a few issues trying to federate my ArcGIS Server with Portal. If I log into Portal using the Initial Administrator Account, federation seems to work ok. This only works if I log in on the actual server where Portal and Server are installed. If I Iog in on my own desktop machine (set up to log in automatically using my Windows log in), the federated server is displayed with a red exclamation mark. If I try and federate from my own machine I get a connection error saying that the ArcGIS Server cannot be accessed. My own Windows log in is a Portal Administrator account and all other actions seem to work OK. Any ideas? Thanks.
