At the 100.4 release, do you support the rubberband aoi box to zoom in (in 10.2.4 this was called ZoomBoxOverlay). This is a very useful capability and I would hope their is similar functionality at 100.4. What is mapview.setEnableTouchZoom(true).

Thanks Jeremie, I did implement this as a mouselistener but decided against it as I wanted to have HitTestOverlays for several GraphicLayers not just one. Adding mutilple HitTestOverlays to the map, one for each graphicslayer works but I am not able to set the tolerance on the HitTestOverlay. The mouse has to be very close to the attachment point in order to pick it up. If anyone knows how to set the tolerance on the HitTestOverlay please let me know.

I want to change the pixel tolerance on the HitTestOverlay for a graphics layer containing TextSymbols. There is a reference to this in one of the graphics layer HitTestOverlay discussions but I have been unable to find a method or property where I can increase the number of pixels so that if the user gets pretty close it will select the textsymbol that they are trying to select.

What is the procedure in the .NET runtime to set the default mouse drag to zoom rather than pan. This is done in the Java API with ZoomOverlay but I can't seen to find a way to switch in the .NET runtime. I want to attach the code to a button on the UI so that the user doesn't have to hold down the shift key to create the drag-zoom window.

The ScaleBarOverlay is instantiated showing both KM and Miles. I would like to remove the miles annotation but so far have been unable to find any method to accomplish this. Can anyone suggest how to get this done.

I have manually constructed a contoured color map as an overlay with transparency. I now need to build a colorbar legend for this color map. I would like to overlay this colorbar legend in the lower right-hand corner of the map but I don't want this to move when the user zooms or pans the view. This colorbar would need to be based on screen coordinates. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of snippets available that would point me in the correct direction. I can easily "paint" it over the lower right corner of the map but then it will move or disappear when the user zooms or pans the view. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Carlos, Thanks for the reply. I'm using MapTip which is implemented internally by the Runtime. I've used InfoPopupOverlay in other ESRI API's but not the Java Runtime. MapTip is very simple but I can't seem to find the granularity to remove the tooltip once I click on it. Originally, I actually liked the functionality that allows the Info dialog box to stay on the map so that the user doesn't have to hold the mouse down but it is creating this nagging problem if the user moves to another tab and I haven't removed the maptip from the panel. I guess I will revert to your implied suggestion of using InfoPopupOverlay so that it is definitely removed before the user leaves the JMap. Thanks again for the suggestion. Jerry

I have a tabbed application that has a list of items in a list to the left of the JMap. The map has maptips enabled for the map points. The user clicks on one of the points and the maptip appears as a white dialog box over the map. If the user click on a item in the list to the left of the JMap the application switches to another tab. If the maptip was enabled and the white dialog is active on the map - then when the application switches to another non-map panel the white dialog stays on the screen and cannot be removed until switching back to the map and then clicking off of the point. I am looking for a programmatic way to remove the active maptip from the map panel before switching to the new tab. Can anyone suggest how to do such an easy thing.

I would like to Scale an entire graphics layer. I have created a Graphics Layer that is a bubble map. As the user zooms in the bubbles remain the same number of pixels. Many users want to change the Bubble sizes. Is there a way to SCALE the entire graphics layer so that this could be attached to a slider bar and thus allow interactive changes to bubble size instead of manually removing and rebuilding the entire graphics layer.

Mark, A second question on the same idea. The end requirement of the "Construct and Arc instead of a Circle" is to build an enclosed shaded POLYGON consisting of an 1) an OUTER ARC 2) an INNER ARC These are arcs with the same center point but of different radii 3) 2 separate lines that connect the 2 sides The result is an enclosed polygon. I have successfully built all 4 segments with the suggestion that you provided above. I have then instantiated a new polygon and added all 4 polylines to construct the polygon and shaded it. I'm not getting the single polygon to fill correctly. It is filling the outer arc with a straight line connecting the end points and then filling the inner arc with a straight line connecting that end points. The inside of the polygon that I tried to construct is not filled. There is also a variation where there is no inner arc, thus the 2 sides start from the center of the arc and form "triangular area with an arc side. This polygon is constructed of 3 sides and I'm getting the arc area filled by connecting the 2 sides and a black line connecting the 2 sides and then no color fill for the triangle itself. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong to construct the complex polygon?

Is there a way in the Java Runtime to specify an ARC as output from the GeometryEngine instead of just the entire circle. I have built 2 concentric circles and then connected them along 2 different angles to get a contained area enclosed within the 2 lines. I need to show only the polygon contained by the 2 lines connection 2 ARCs of different radii, not the entire circles. If anyone has a workaround please let me know.
