Hi Thanks for reporting with a sample to demonstrate it. This is a bug. We are working on it to fix. The workaround for now is only using non semi-transparent background. Thanks

True, updated the codepen that it takes the last created graphic. And there is definitely more room to improve when changing from creating to update and the other way around related to the values in the slider. But it shows the direction how this could get achieved.

Hi Andres In your code you already found the right graphic. One way would be to remove this graphic and add the changed one. Another way to achieve this is to clone the symbol and change the size and reapply: const extrudeSlider = new Slider({
container: "extrudeSlider",
precision: 2,
min: 0,
max: 50,
values: [10]
});
extrudeSlider.on(["thumb-drag", "thumb-change"], (event) => {
const value = event.value;
document.getElementById("extrude").innerHTML = value;
const extrudedPolygon = sketchViewModel.layer.graphics.getItemAt(sketchViewModel.layer.graphics.length - 1);
const updatedSymbol = extrudedPolygon.symbol.clone();
updatedSymbol.symbolLayers.items[0].size = value;
extrudedPolygon.symbol = updatedSymbol;
}); Check also the codepen: https://codepen.io/SaschaBrunnerCH/pen/eYbYGya?editors=1010

Hi Fabricio. Thanks for reaching out. With the current release (4.25) it derives the units either from: - if "view.map" created from WebScene/WebMap and user logged in it gets the units (metric or imperal) from the user's configuration. - or from the unit of the spatial reference At the moment it is not possible to change it on the SketchTooltipOptions directly, but this could change in an upcoming release. In the meantime, a way to change the unit between metric and imperial is on the `view.map.portalItem`: map.portalItem = new PortalItem({
portal: { units: "english" }
}); or if portalItem already exist with instantiating from WebMap or WebScene: map.portalItem.units = "english" I hope that helps.

Hi and welcome to the 3D world with the ArcGIS API for Javascript. You can get the information with SceneView-hitTest . The SceneView-HitTestResult gives you back the ground hit with coordinates. Check out the sample SceneView - hitTest to see how it works.

Hi Micheal You could use TextSymbol3DLayer in 3D for labels. With the upcoming release 4.23 (next - Label alignment and styles) there is also more support for labels like custom fonts, decoration and background coming. Check also the sample - using callout lines with labels.

Hi You could use view.hitTest and calculate from the result the difference. Check also the sample SceneView - hitTest . Which kind of 3D data are you using? Let me know if this helps?

hi @GaryLSheppardJr It is not supported to drape text graphics on the ground. I wonder what's the use case to not have them billboarded?

In the code snippet the function to handle the "pointsPerInch" is missing: function pointsperinchValueChanged(event) {
const newRenderer = pcLayer.renderer.clone();
newRenderer.pointsPerInch = event.value;
pcLayer.renderer = newRenderer;
} The working sample in the sandbox: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/sandbox/?sample=layers-pointcloud-size-density

@avecchi , The "transform" behavior got changed with introducing "Line and polygon transformations" in 4.19 for 3D. This was not possible with 3D before but in 2D. Check also the release notes: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/4.19/. So it looks like you are working with 4.18 or below? Thanks, Sascha

Can you give some more details about the problem? Technically this should work out of the box. Example with "USA Zip Codes": https://zurich.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=dc123f738bf846779c49db6472f82a4b You can open them in SceneView and MapView and the points show with 41k features (https://services.arcgis.com/P3ePLMYs2RVChkJx/arcgis/rest/services/USA_ZIP_Code_Points_analysis/FeatureServer/0/query?f=json&returnIdsOnly=true&returnCountOnly=true&spatialRel=esriSpatialRelIntersects&where=1%3D1) <html>

Hi Michael This is a known limitation and mentioned here: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-renderers-visualVariables-RotationVariable.html: "In a SceneView rotation visual variables are not currently supported with marker symbols, text symbols, 3D icon symbol layers and 3D text symbol layers." You could use ObjectSymbol3DLayer . See also the sample: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/layers-featurelayer-labeling-3d/ Would that work for your use case? Otherwise can you let us know what your use case is. Thanks.
