There are a couple of interesting and extremely useful properties of a virtual 3D camera that are missing from the 'Camera' class in the JS API: 1. Horizontal + Vertical field of view (FOV) [There's a 'fov' member but it's unclear what it is exactly. A clearer API documentation would help as well]. 2. Projection Matrix of the Camera. 3. Roll angle (in addition to the existing yaw/heading and pitch/tilt) It would be amazing if the above properties could be exposed in the JavaScript API as well as all of the Runtime SDKs.

Thank you for the reply! While this helps customize basemaps and other maps, I couldn't find a way to reference the customized map programmatically in the JavaScript API. Or did I miss something? TIA, Sapir

Hello, I've been playing around with the JavaScript SDK and I'm trying to display a map with the 'streets' basemap but I want anything but the roads to be transparent. Is this possible? Thanks, Sapir

Hi everyone, I'm not sure whether there's something I'm missing or not, but I've been playing around with the Camera and SceneView classes and couldn't find a way to alter the roll of the camera. I have heading (yaw) and tilt (pitch) but I see no mention of roll. On the other hand, I've peeked at other ArcGIS SDKs and on Qt, for example, there's a way to create a Camera instance with yaw, pitch and *roll*. What am I missing? Another question regarding the camera's field of view (FOV) member: From testing, it seems like this field is the horizontal FOV of the camera. Is there a way to alter the vertical FOV? Maybe altering the canvas would help. Thanks, Sapir
