Yes use the export xml workspace document. Make sure that it is set to schema only otherwise you will bring all your data over as well, unless that is what you want to do. If you have any other questions feel free to email me at stovernr@stlouiscountymn.gov<mailto:stovernr@stlouiscountymn.gov> Ryan

Thanks for the information. My first question is why you want to create new fabrics? Why not use versions of the original fabric. One way to save the schema of a database is to export your schema only out of that database and into the new database where the new fabric will be housed there will be some modifications to do when create a new fabric but it is doable. I have never tried saving out my parcel fabric symbology as a layer file. I am not sure how that would work. The easiest way I have found to preserve the changes to your symbology is to share your map document, and if you are on working versioned data you can then switch to that persons version, or you can save your symbology and recreate the layers in a new map. It really comes down to personal preference, Ryan

We have made many enhancements to the LGIM both in schema and data for the parcel fabric. By "re-packaging" do you mean data that the end users are using shares the same schema of the parcel fabric? Ryan

Hey Brandon, Just give me a call whenever you want to talk. I have created a work around but it is always nice to hear what others are doing as well. The main thing for us is being able to provide a status board with updates. I have all of the maps and other widgets refreshing when they are suppose to, but trying to us the description widget to supply updates to staff. For example I will provide hourly weather updates during any situation. I can explain it more over the phone. Thanks, Ryan

I am new to this Operations Dashboard. We have used other types of dashboards for our emergency management incidents in the past. Is there any way to have a live status board. For example we have the dashboard up on a tv in the EOC and I as planning section chief want to provide an incident status update to staff in the EOC like a weather update. I am logged into the dashboard as myself but the dashboard in the EOC is logged in as the EOC user. Currently I have not figured out a way to do this. To me this may be a critical item. We could use the description widget but someone in the EOC would have to close out and reopen the dashboard when there is an update. Thanks, Ryan

Are you just looking to add Lat and Long to the feature? If so create two new fields and calculate geometry. This will give you your coordinates.

Change your "Or" to an "And" and see what happens. This should give what you want. By using "And" you are telling the query you want all attributes that are not Complete or Expired.By saying "Or" it is confused on which ones to exclude.

I am at a confused look on my face. I have a feature that is a static dataset, but for some reason I started getting an error about 2 weeks ago saying that "Only one spatial column is supported in this operation". Has anyone else seen this and if so how to resolve it. I can view the feature in SQL Management Studio, but not in ArcGIS. ArcSDE 10.1 SQL Server 2008 R2 Thanks for the help, Ryan

Tom no problem. Hopefully this will help you get something built for what you need. I hope to have a finished model sometime in the next two weeks and when I do I will post that one as well. I think that model in the end will create about 12 feature classes out of the parcel fabric. Ryan

For those of you that were in the Land Records Meeting today. Attached is the model of how to take data out of the Parcel Fabric/ Parcel Editing and move it to the Parcel Publishing Features. This is built for SDE but could easily be configured. I plan on adding more to this model as we move forward with data development. Please provide feedback. Thanks, Ryan
