This appears to be just for AGO, do you know how I could modify the gis=GIS() connector string for ArcGIS Enterprise Portal?

Maybe this should be a discussion rather than a question. However, I'm curious to listen to anyone who uses and has Verizon Networkfleet but also use ESRI Geoevent with the adapter. I'm just wondering what other functionality GeoEvent can give that Verizon Network Fleet Portal can't. Best, RJH

Thank you so much! I was kinda figuring I could, because I saw the option as you mentioned above. I was just hesitant because I didn't want to screw up anything related to our organization. We don't use AGO. We have Enterprise where our company uses portal instead:)

I was scared to do it. But I'm really considering (okay, more than likely) going to buy the ArcGIS Personal License. I was wondering if I could have my own Customer account number linked to my main account that is already connected to my organization in My Esri? Sorry if this question has already been asked before. But I searched and searched and came up with nothing. Thanks,

I know at my company and our phones that are given to us, the IT Support Staff has a way to be able to "push" the update directly onto the phone without the user having to do anything.

Thank you for replying James Yes, like James said, our problem was due to a configuration and/or network issue. We have a distributed ArcGIS Enterprise system comprised of 7 servers all doing different things. And I also believe we had a firewall blocking something. Also, another issue that we had either with this case or one shortly after was due to updates. Please make sure that you are updated to the latest version of Survey 123 Connect and also the iPhone and Android devices as well.

I would like to do an external script mainly because this data that I will be pulling is not part of ArcGIS. But rather an outside source. We have internet "meter" points surrounding our state. The up and down speed etc are being pulled to another SQL server from a 3rd party... However, I was able to pull in the data using SQL with Excel just by connecting into it.

Removing (, newline=' ') did nothing. I was expecting it to do something, at least throw an error or something. But the file stays in the same format with each letter having it's own cell in the excel sheet.

Hello, so I am very new to using python more and more with GIS. However, I have ran across a problem that I cannot seem to figure out. We are trying an evaluation copy of ArcGIS GeoEvent Server. One cool idea that we are going for is basically reading an excel sheet as it is updated. I am messing around with some feature class that we have not pretaining to actual real time data that changes, and wanted to give it a shot to see if i could export it to excel. import pyodbc
import csv
connection = pyodbc.connect("Driver={SQL Server Native Client 11.0};"
"Server=Server;"
"Database=Database;"
"uid=username;pwd=password")
cursor = connection.cursor()
cursor.execute("select Name, SITE_NAME,ADDRESS from Power_plants")
data=cursor.fetchall()
with open('dataTester.csv', 'w', newline='') as fp:
a= csv.writer(fp, delimiter=',')
for line in data:
a.writerows(line)
for row in data:
print (row[0],row[1],row[2])
cursor.close()
connection.close() Currently this is what I have. I was able to connect to the database fine, however I changed all of that for security. But then I have it print to console, and that also works fine. However when it goes into excel, it somehow makes every letter in the words a new column. See attached screen shot. What do I need to do in my code to fix this??

I am sadly. I have tried everything I can think of, and have even tried to look up helpful CSS code on the internet. I can make it transparent fine. I just don't want the maps and text to be transparent as well! Haha

Thank you very much! I just did that, and now i have it to work! It took a little bit to try and implement this in my other code. You also wouldn't happen to know how to change the text color would you? Maybe change the text to something like white (because I have a black nav bar) and then when hovered the text will change a different color? Thank you so much!

I know this is kind of an old thread, but I'm currently redesigning our companies Portal. I almost have it all done, but how did you change the color from the blue to red underline on the navigation bar? Would love to make this a green color for company colors. Best, Ryan

This is what I mean about when I set Featured Maps Opacity. It even makes the maps transparent. But this is the look and feel I would like. But to have the Maps not transparent. And also not the "Map Gallery" text to be transparent. #featuredMaps {
background: gray;
opacity: .3;
box-shadow: none;
border-bottom: none;
height: 210px !important;
display: fixed !important;
}
#featuredMaps #fHeader {
background-color: rgba(119, 119, 119, 0.65);
box-shadow: black;
border-bottom:none;
h2.galleryTitle: 'Maps ';
}
#featuredMaps #fHeader h2 {
font-size: 20px; Also, I noticed that the gallery Title is not named 'Maps' like I have set. Instead it's the default name
