I am building an app based off of the Calcite maps example and have run into an issue. When displaying a pie-chart in a popup it wont display the tooltip when hovering over the chart. At first I thought that it was something that I had tweaked in my app that was causing it not to appear. However, I can replicate the same issue when I take the feature layer with popup from the multiple popup elements example found here: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/popup-multipleelements/index.html and put it in the Calcite maps example found here: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/frameworks-bootstrap/index.html. The popup displays the requested data and chart, but when you hover over a wedge in the chart it doesn't show the category and amount in a tooltip as it should. There is something in the Calcite maps template that is prohibiting it from displaying, possibly a CSS issue?

Thank you for the confirmation that there is no event that is fired when the view is finished drawing. I thought that I was missing something when going through the api reference guide. Seems like an odd and incredibly useful event to leave out. I will probably just wait for the "Coming Soon" busyIndicator then.

I am pretty new to JavaScript and am having trouble figuring out how to display a "loading" gif onscreen while map items are loading. I have been able to figure out how to do it using the 3.x api but am stumped when trying to accomplish the same thing using the new arcgis-javavascript-4.2 version. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have built a model using ArcScene by draping 2D polygon data over an elevation raster and am having issues when using the Export to 3D Web Scene tool. The tool builds successfully, but when I view the model using the CityEngine web viewer the center of donut polygons get filled with gray which ends up covering the interior polygons. See images below for an example of what I am talking about. If I cut the donut polygon into two then the issue goes away, however this isn't really feasible to do for my entire model. I am hoping that someone may have a suggestion of a tool or setting that I should try. I am new to the 3D mapping world so please bear with me . Here is what is being hidden by the darker gray "filled" donut hole.

I have been putting together a 3D basemap for our campus, Washington State University, and have been trying to share my model using the export to 3d web scene arcToolbox tool. For the most part is has worked pretty well except for my StreetPavement feature class (polygon). For some reason, blank spaces in between polygons are getting filled. In other words, the areas that would be filled by my LandscapeArea polygon class are being filled with gray polygons. I have attached a screenshot to help illustrate. If I turn off the StreetPavement layer in the web scene viewer it looks fine. The strange this is that the LandscapeArea class doesn't experience this same phenomenon. I have tried about twenty different things to the StreetPavement class, but always end up with the same result. For example Merging all of the LandscapeArea class, then performing a clip on the StreetPavement Creating a new featureclass, then coping the features from the StreetPavement into it. Creating a raster layer from the StreetPavement class then displaying it in the model. (This sort of works but doesn't look that great) I have even gone so far as to copy the features within the StreetPavement class and copying them into the LandscapeArea class. The result ends up looking the same. So I know the issue has to do something with the polygons in the StreetPavement class, but I have no idea what it is or what else to try. Dark gray area filling in between polygons in the StreetPavement Class. Everything looks like it is supposed to in ArcScene. Thanks in advance for any help, ~Bob

We are on straight 10.2. I will have to work with my IT folks and get us upgraded to 10.2.2 a little sooner than I had anticipated. Thank you so much for this. I have been searching this issue for a week now with no luck, I never once came across the bug that you referenced. Thank You! ~Bob

I have done some testing and have narrowed it down to the GP service. I can run it directly from the REST endpoint and experience the same results as if I ran it via my Silverlight app. Shape file and fgdb exports works perfectly, but exporting to any other format produces an empty zip file. Again this GP works perfectly when running it in ArcMap from a toolbox. I am not to sure where to go from here and am hoping someone has an idea where to start. I should also mention that there are no errors that show up in the ArcGIS Server Manager Logs. Help! ~Bob

I know this is a really old thread, but did you ever figure out a solution. I am experiencing the same issue when trying to export to a dwg or dxf. However exporting to FGDB's and Shapefiles works perfectly.

EDIT: I moved this from the Silverlight forum hoping that someone here might be able to shed some light. This is a GP issue not Silverlight. I stood up a GP service yesterday using the Clip and Ship example from ESRI, found here: ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) . Using the Silverlight example for extracting data found here: ArcGIS API for Silverlight - Interactive Samples (without modifications), I am successfully able to extract data to a shape file or fgdb. However, if I try to extract to a dwg I am given the message that it was successful and when I download the zip file it is empty, no dwg is produced. If I go to the scratch space on the server to look at the output directory for that job its output content is empty as well. This led me to believe that something is wrong with the GP. To test it, I opened ArcMap, ran the GP and it produced a dwg without any issue. I am not to sure what else to try. I am running ArcGIS for Server 10.2 and version 3.1 for the Silverlight api. Any help is greatly appreciated! ~Bob http://cougGIS.wsu.edu

First off, thank you for providing this code. It works pretty well for me if I am not exporting more than 10-15 records at a time. Anymore than that then it starts either dropping data or wont save. Screencap of an exported csv. Are there limits to how much data can be exported? I have found that if I export data from a datagrid that has fewer columns I am able to export more records before it either doesn't work or stops populating columns. Never mind everything is working like it is supposed to. I just received a new workstation from IT and its setup to not check for new webpages every time you visit a page. So my app is running on an old broken version. And the best part, all of the browser settings are locked so I cant change them or even clear the cache. Makes web development a little hard to troubleshoot... 😞

John, I got a little lost with the flex builder stuff, but from what I can tell you haven't added your service account to the services that you want to print. So lets say you have a Domestic Water map service that you want to print. Your printing service account must have view permissions to that service to be able to print it. I apologize if I am incorrect and you did do this, otherwise I am not to sure what could be wrong. Good luck!

TreeViewExtended has been developed to support the binding to 'IsExpanded' property. Now that Silverlight supports binding in the style setter, you could get the same result with the standard TreeView (no more need to subclass it). So you can replace TreeViewExtended by TreeView and customize it as you want. Thanks for your reply, I swapped out the TreeViewExtended and replaced it with TreeView but no items appear in the legend. Below is my modification to the Legend, I also tried it without the ItemsControl within the TreeView with no luck. <Setter Property="Template">
