I am having an problem with map symbology when exporting a map to PDF. Some of the fill lines turn 'wavy'. I've tried a number of different setting from export options, but cannot get it to work. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know how to change the transparent fill for the standard north arrow to white? The transparent fill does not look so great over imagery. I can achieve this effect by creating a mask, but the outline is not sharp. Seems like this should be a simple fix, but I cannot get anything to work.

Hi, I am looking for ways to create fill symbols for mapping projects for an environmental resources group (Wet Del, Impact Plates, etc). For example, I tried to create a custom hexagon symbol fill, but it overlaps at some points and is somewhat difficult to get the offsets and separations to align perfectly. (See attached) Does Arc has additional fill symbols for download? Seems like there should be some stock fill symbols for DL somehwere. Thanks,
