I changed it to below, and is now working: on(dom.byId("Clearbtn"), "click", lang.hitch(this, function(evt){
this.map.graphics.clear();
})); Thanks Robert

I suspect you are right, but would that go inside or outside the function? I tried both options with no success. (I have now reattached the file) Thanks

I am having issues with clearing graphics in a custom WAB app. I have been using this.map.graphics.clear() but I keep getting an Uncaught Error. The functionality I am after is just allowing a user to draw a polygon, and clear the results. I hope to add undo/redo, and limiting it to a single feature later. Attached is the widget, with the code changes in widget.js and widget.html. My experience with dojo/esi/etc. is limited, and I am sure it's something small I've just missed. I would appreciate some help. Thx!

Thanks Douglas, I will keep an eye out for it in the next update. Do you know if this will include enterprise PostgreSQL geodatabases?

I had heard rumors that support for postgres databases (similar to those mentioned here) in Insights, is currently been worked on. Is this true, and if so when can it be expected? Thanks!

Yes, they are the same URL's. Also, in AWS the CN defaults to the server name. So I was able to federate with the following settings: Service URL: https://[server name]/server Admin URL: https://[server private IP]:6443/arcgis However, using the private IP locks me out of any external access to my Portal and ArcServer services. I presume these settings are still not correct, as private ip would not work if portal and server were on separate machines?

Thanks Jonathan, this is great information. Yes, the banner page returns and good to know that is not an issue. Also, yes I am referring to my Portal and Server machine name, as they are on the same server. This is a single machine deployment on AWS created from the Esri AMI (Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 with SQL Server Express 2017), so the software (inc. web adapters) were all pre-installed, and I am in the process of configuring. The error I am mainly referring to, is when I attempt to federate my server with portal (using the previously mentioned URL's), I get this error: It might be also useful to know that as this is just a pull-up pull-down environment for development work, I am using self-certification from IIS. I have tried a number of combinations (e.g. IP, localhost) along with the machine name (which this thread indicates is what should be used). But still get the error. Thanks

I can access and log into the ArcGIS Portal Directory. I cannot access the server administration URL (https://<IP/machine>:6443/arcgis/) required for federation. I get: I have noticed that when I used https://<machine name>/arcgis/ 'HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found' (see attached), and going into c:\inetpub\wwwroot there is no 'arcgis' folder (just 'portal' and 'server'). Is there supposed to be a 'arcgis' folder there? I have 10.5.1.

Hi Cassandra, Did you find a resolution to this? I am having the same issue. I am able to login via 6443/arcgis/admin but 6443/arcgis just gets the same image you provided. I am assuming it is a Server issue (rather then portal), as it does this before even adding/configuring/federating to Portal. Thanks!

Based on the FAQ for Insights (here), pages can be embedded into other ArcGIS Online apps such as Story Maps. Is there a way to embed them into an ArcGIS Online Web App, without having to create a custom widget?

Great App! I just have a question. How do I get the distance lines back? Since the last update the distance lines have gone and there is only one now. I may have accidently turned them off, but I cannot seem to find where I turn them on. They were great for judging rough distances. Thanks again for such a good app, keep up the good work!

To be honest I couldn't remember if it was apart of the standard install or the 64-bit Background Geoprocessing. I did check before my post with a team member who I thought didn't have it installed, but this proves she did. Thanks for clarifying this Joshua.

This might not fix your problem since you are on version 10, but this was my resolution to the same issue. I have ArcGIS 10.2.2 and Python 2.7, and in C:\Python27\ I have ArcGIS10.2 (32bit) and ArcGISx6410.2 (64bit). I believe they are both included in the standard install. I cannot say for 32bit machines, but the default idle in the start menu is set to C:\Python27\ArcGISx6410.2 . I ran the code in 32bit cmd (C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.2\python.exe) and arcpy.ListTables() worked, but didn't in 32bit Idle (C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.2\Lib\idlelib\idle.pyw ). I had a look at the path browser in the 32bit Idle and it's referencing a lot of files from the ArcGISx6410.2 folder (C:\Python27\ArcGISx6410.2\). You might want to try re-running the code directly from 32bit cmd (C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.2\python.exe) and see how you go. I am working in Visual Studio, so once I changed my default environment from ArcGISx6410.2 to ArcGIS10.2, arcpy.ListTables() worked. Again, this might not fix your issue, and this post is a few months old, but might give you an idea that might. Good luck! *note replace 10.2 references for 10

I know this post is slightly old, but for those that come across this issue in the future... In order to have python available in ArcPad, you need to make sure that you have Python and PyWin32 Python Extensions for Windows (both free downloads) installed. Once installed, then the Python option will be active in Studio, and recognised by ArcPad. See the 'Working with scripts' in 'Scripts, ArcPad XML, and the ArcPad Object Model' ArcPad help for more information: ArcPad Help
