Hello, Does any body know of a good way to identify events that have shifted? We have events that have shifted probably due to calibrating outside of an edit session or not calibrating after loading? Thanks, Ana

Thanks, Amit! We'll give it a shot and let you know what we find. I figured I might be partially answering my question by asking about concurrent routes. Ana

Hello, We have a route network within a Roads and Highways database where we need to identify concurrent routes going in the same measure direction; these concurrent routes are direction 1 and direction 2 of the same road. We cannot use the digitized direction or vertices to determine route directionality because the digitized direction of our centerlines are not necessarily going the same direction as the routes. How can we find these types concurrent routes so we can flip one of them? Thanks, Ana

Hi John, Well, as I recall, we had our R&H expert from Esri take a look; he said he'd look into it. We haven't heard anything yet. So, right now, we don't group layers in Event Editor. The group layer is broken up into separate layers in the service. Was there any follow-up with the ArcGIS Server group and you? Hello, I have been following the Esri LRS Data Model documention for 10.7 but when I create the ALRS in an offline gdb, the Redline feature class M and Z values are created unchecked. The documentation says that the Redline must be Z enabled and cannot be M enabled; however, I cannot change these properties because the option is grayed out. LRS data model—Roads and Highways Desktop | ArcGIS Desktop What is confusing me further is that the documentation for Deploying Redline Routes for 10.7 (Deploying redline routes—Event Editor for Roads and Highways | ArcGIS Enterprise) states that the M and Z values must be disabled. We currently use Event Editor but haven't really started to utilize Redlining. I'm not sure if these two pieces of documentation are speaking about doing the same thing or are different. Should I simply delete the created Redline feature class and create it manually? If so, how should I set the Index properties? Below is a screen shot of what was automatically generated when I created the ALRS: Below is a screenshot of the Redline Z and M value and Indexes settings in our current production database: (Notice both Z and M values are enabled) Thanks, Ana

Thank you, Nathan. We think this is "BUG-000117802" as mentioned by RHUG in January 2019. Amit has contacted me. The analyst can get into the details needed to determine exactly what it going on with the symbology in Event Editor for your map. Hi Nathan, I was looking for issues surrounding symbology and grouping categories and found this post. From your questions above, I'm guessing that groups are a problem for Event Editor. Our issue: in an MXD used for publishing, the symbology was grouped for a couple of categories for "Freeway/Expressway 2a and 2b"; it shows grouped in the MXD and the portal map used for publishing but in the Event Editor the grouped categories are duplicated but symbology stays put. We just moved to 10.7.1 Below are screen shots of the problem. Thanks, Ana

Sure - that could work, as long as the script runs as expected. I'll run it by everyone and test it out. Thanks, George.
