Bummer. I really need to use the screen size and functionality of a Windows 10 tablet with decent GNSS location accuracy (like a Trimble T10), to collect features for our ArcGIS enterprise geodatabase, and support two-deep relationship classes of tables related to the features we collect. Ironically, with this impasse, we continue to collect using ArcPad on Windows 7 tablets - which works great but software and hardware are mighty long-in-the-tooth.

It's very generous of you, Dan, to keep digging into this. I did some "Feature Vertices to Points" as you suggested, and it seems like the disconnected segments are incorporated into the dissolved multipart feature in the order of lower-right to upper-left starting point. Even if I don't have that exactly correct, the order seems oriented to the spatial location of one end of each of the segments. I tried flipping a couple of the segments, and that had a profound effect on the start/end of the resulting dissolved line. This started as identifying the intersecting streets at the beginning and end of a street network dissolved by Street Name. Using the beginning and ending points of the dissolved lines seemed so simple. Works fine if all pieces of a line are connected.

Thank you for the insight, Dan, but all of my segment pieces are digitized in the same direction. I'm trying to illustrate that in the following graphic:

For me, I can snap a new line to an existing line or point feature, or a new point feature to an existing line feature. But what I really need is to snap an "existing" line to and "existing" point feature. I can't coax Collector for ArcGIS to make those snaps in the field, and consequently, can't have someone edit all those "disconnects" with a web mapping application in the office.

To close the loop, I found no path within all the available coordinate transformations in Coordinate System Data to transform ellipsoidal heights to orthometric heights for any geoid other than the world models EGM96, EGM84, or EGM2008. That, I could find no path from ellipsoidal heights to NAVD1988 (Geoid12B, or any other CONUS model).

Thanks for the response, Kory. I thought I was placing this notion into the Drone2Map category. But I greatly appreciate the recommendation to install the Coordinate System Data, which I had not taken the time to do previously.

Following along with the idea to "Convert exif Data from Meters to Feet," allowing us to incorporate ground control points representing elevations to orthometric heights in a datum commonly used in the U.S. would be extremely helpful.

Robert, I'm using the For_AppBuilder3.4 version of eSearch, and successfully selecting the features - but cannot get the datagrid to appear. I've defined <autoopendatagrid>true</autoopendatagrid>, and the fields desired in the datagrid have gridfield="true" (hopefully in the proper location in the attached .xml). If you have the opportunity to review, I'd be greatly appreciative - on top of my great appreciation for your other widgets that our users enjoy. Sincerely, Rick Hudson Mobile County, AL

Robert - My users love this application. It's worked perfectly until Monday of this week, when we started, instead, getting the Message from Webpage: Unable to get property 'closed' of undefined or null reference. I tried obtaining a new API key, but that did not resolve. Do you have some insight you could share on this particular error? Thank you for your generosity of all the Flex Widgets.
