Hi, We have been planning to utilize data lake which is already present in the organisation as the primary data provider. Would like to know whether it would be supported in Enterprise level implementation where both static and dynamic data would be present in Datalake. Kindly suggest if this is supported by ESRI ? If so, which data lake platforms are supported. Thanks, Arch

I need to view the historical data in the web application. I have enabled versioning and archiving in the ArcMap and created versions of data using "Geodatabase History". Are there any ways to view and edit these data through ArcGIS JS API or should I create an ArcPy script to run this module? Also, it would be helpful if I get to know about the presence of any Geoprocessing tool to save my purpose. I am currently using ArcMap - 10.7 and Postgres SQL 10

I can't able to run my simple map application as executable jar file. When i try to run the jar file in command prompt, it shows error like "could not find or load main class" but when creating the jar file i included main class in it. what could be the problem? This happens when using java 12. When using java 11, I can't able to create executable jar. Eclipse doesn't show any main class to choose.

Tried to do testing of an application built using ArcGIS JS API 3.x. But when I ran npx intern, the console threw the following error: Listening on localhost:9000 (ws 9001) Tunnel started TypeError: Cannot read property 'pathname' of undefined at Object.<anonymous> @ node_modules\arcgis-js-api-3.27.0\kernel.js:25:126 at global.define @ node_modules\amd-loader\amd-loader.js:71:28 at Object.<anonymous> @ node_modules\arcgis-js-api-3.27.0\kernel.js:25:1 at Module.module.constructor._compile @ node_modules\amd-loader\amd-loader.js:10:31 at Object.require.extensions.(anonymous function) [as .js] @ node_modules\babel-register\lib\node.js:152:7 at tryModuleLoad @ internal\modules\cjs\loader.js:539:12 In a separate test, If I run the testing with 4.x arcgis modules, it could run tests that contain "esri/geometry/Extent" and "esri/geometry/SpatialReference" but if I try to test with "esri/Map" and "esri/views/MapView", it throws the following error (pretty much the same kernel.js corresponding to 4.x) Listening on localhost:9000 (ws 9001) Tunnel started Error: Cannot find module 'config-deferredInstrumentation?./promise/instrumentation' @ node_modules\amd-loader\amd-loader.js:55:31 @ node_modules\amd-loader\amd-loader.js:79:24 at Array.map @ anonymous at global.define @ node_modules\amd-loader\amd-loader.js:71:52 at Object.<anonymous> @ node_modules\esri\node_modules\dojo\Deferred.js:1:63 at Module.module.constructor._compile @ node_modules\amd-loader\amd-loader.js:10:31 at Object.require.extensions.(anonymous function) [as .js] @ node_modules\babel-register\lib\node.js:152:7 Please help me figure this out!

It worked!. I added the rabbitmq-transport-10.4.0.jar file in "ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7\Server\GeoEvent\deploy'" folder. It got added in the components list. Now, I am able to import the configuration file mentioned in the tutorial and create new inputs based on RabbitMQ. Thank you very much.

I am trying to add the RabbitMQ™ Connector to the GeoEvent Server. I am following the connector's tutorial. When I add the included rabbitmq-transport-10.6.0.jar file I get a 'Stream Closed' error as shown below. When I check the logs 'com.esri.ges.rest.root.internal.RootRestServiceImpl' error is logged. Is there any other way to import the RabbitMQ Transport into GeoEvent Server?

Chad Kahler were you able to give reference to a local font family? I am trying to have a completely offline application. Just need the default fonts but on local. Noah Sager is there any way to maintain the some of the default font family provided by ESRI on my local and then provide the esriConfig.fontsURL?

We have an application built with 3.24 API based on a web map in Portal for ArcGIS. Some of the layers are not visible in the web map initially (parent group layer visible but not sub layer), but the pop-up has been configured and enabled for all layers. This works as expected within the Portal. With a layer list widget configured to the web map, layer visibility is toggled within the application. For layers that were not visible within the web map, pop-up does not appear. Here is a screenshot of a web map within the sample app for layer list. It shows the pop up for a layer that is set as visible within the web map. When I toggle the other layer on and zoom-in, I still get the pop-up of previous layer. Even when I turn the layer's visibility off, I still don't get the pop-up of the now visible layer. Whereas in the web-map, once the pop-up seems to be working as expected. It shows both the layer's pop-up, but it considers all visible layers. The screenshots are from a sample app that uses the 3.28 version of the API. Is this a limitation of the API? Is there any way to enable the pop-up set in the web map when the layer visibility is toggled on?

The issue has been resolved. The log file could be accessed by giving the absolute path in proxy.config file. Debugging the JSP file, we found that the username and password values were empty. The space between the parameter name and "=" was the issue. Seems like this is an issue with the way the file is parsed. The config file looked like this at the end: <serverUrl url="https://domain.com/portal/sharing/rest/content/items" matchAll="true" username= "username" password= "p@ssword"/> <serverUrl url="https://domain.com/server/rest/services/" matchAll="true" username="username" password="p@ssword"/> This works well.

The Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server 10.61 is set on Suse 12 SP 3 on the web server Apache Tomcat 7.0.82. A custom application, developed using ArcGIS API for Javascript 3.24, was deployed on the same web server. The Java proxy was also deployed. The rules for their server and portal were added in the proxy.config. The proxy can be pinged but it does not work. <serverUrl url="https://domain.com/portal/sharing/rest/content/items" matchAll="true" username = "username" password = "p@ssword" rateLimit="600" rateLimitPeriod="60"/> <serverUrl url="https://domain.com/server/rest/services/" matchAll="true" username = "username" password = "p@ssword"/> It was tested by trying to access https://domain.com/Java/proxy.jsp?https://domain.com/server/rest/services While it opens the services, only the public services are visible. The proxy rules were also added to the custom application JS code to test as below: urlUtils.addProxyRule({ urlPrefix: "https://domain.com/portal/sharing/rest/content/items", proxyUrl: "https://domain.com/Java/proxy.jsp" }, { urlPrefix: "https://domain.com/server/rest/services", proxyUrl: "https://domain.com/Java/proxy.jsp" } ); Other combinations of portal URL "https://domain.com/portal/sharing/rest/" and with clientID and clientSecret was also tested with no improvement. We have not had any luck with it so far. What is to be done to get the Java proxy working, other than to make the services public? The same rules set in DotNet proxy in a Windows server works for other project that we have implemented, but not in the Suse server.
