Oops I forgot to include that I did change the toolbox alias to "CrimeTools" it helped me not get as confused with too many portions just having the word crime in them.

Howdy Luke, Sorry about the delay in answering. You are absolutely correct when I put C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\python.exe in the "Program/scripts" and the path to my python script in "Add arguments" it worked like a dream. I've tested having a time in the task scheduler and manually starting it from the task scheduler and it works both ways. I'm running it from my local machine with Windows 10 due to us not having a server we can put ArcGIS Pro on right now so the server OS didn't come into the equation. I have it setup to "run when weather user is logged on or not" and "run with highest privileges". Thank you all for your help. You have all been very informative in helping me get this process automated. I hope you all have a great weekend. Cheers, Mark Rankin

Howdy All, Here's an update to the forward progress. Megan at ESRI has been helping me get to this point. I installed PyCharm and when changing the project interpreter to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\python.exe the script works. Woohoo. Megan wrote....... Open PyCharm Navigate to File > Settings Expand Project tab > click Project Interpreter > if in the Project Interpreter section doesn't have C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\python.exe listed, you need to add it Click on cog wheel icon > click Add Local option Click System Interpreter option on left-side panel Click the ... icon to navigate to following location and select python.exe > C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\python.exe > click OK Click OK > it might take a couple of minutes for PyCharm to set the environment to this new python executable So now it's to what Luke was eluding to earlier...the dreaded Task Scheduler. I have had no success getting the script to work in task scheduler. My thought was to put the path to the python script in the "Program/script:" section and the path Megan gave me (C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\python.exe) in the "Start in (optional):" section. This has not worked. I'll continue on and let you all know if I find the secret combo. Thank you all for your help. GIS is a great community. Cheers, Mark

Howdy All, Thanks for the comments. I'm using the models to run as scheduled tasks in the middle of the night. I'm avoiding moving everything into a python script due to being more comfortable working in models and making adjustments as needed (I'm lazy). I've included a screenshot below of the General tab. I've made sure to keep out underscores (that's gotten me in trouble before). I just received a new computer so I don't know if I've not installed everything correctly (the script starts fine and writes out to a log file but when it hits the arcpy portion it errors out). . Thanks for the help! Mark

Hello All, I'm getting the error "AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'Step1CrimeDataPrep_CrimeTools'" when trying to run a model from python and the model was created in ArcGIS Pro. # Import arcpy module import arcpy, datetime, sys from time import strftime #---------------------------------------------------------------------------- arcpy.ImportToolbox(r"\\prfsgis\giswork\PROJECTS\Crime\Crime.tbx") arcpy.Step1CrimeDataPrep_CrimeTools() I've done this process in models created in desktop before but this is my first attempt using models created in Pro. Do I have to do something different? Thanks for any help. Cheers, Mark Rankin

Hello All, I'm using a custom WAB. I have a service that is using the same data for three layers by having a different definition query on each layer before publishing. When I use the Query Widget I type in the the Query criteria in the "Tasks" tab and a list of available options appears in a drop down. I click on the record I'm interested in then click on apply and then I get a "Number of features found: 0" in the "Results" tab. I'm confused because the query can see the record in the drop down so why can't it return a result? I've tested separating the layers into 3 different feature classes and the query widget works fine but I'd prefer to keep all the data in one feature class so there's less room for error and less data manipulation in the back-end. Thanks for any help. Cheers, Mark

Thanks James! I looked at the page you referenced but was looking for decimal and not number. Now that I see what I should have been looking for it makes perfect sense. That whole reading thing eludes me at times. Thanks again. It is working like a charm now.

Howdy All, I can figure out how to do addition in a calculate field with integers but have not had any success with decimals. It keeps concatenating the two fields instead of adding them. I've also tried using "decimal" and "dec" in the field and get an error when it gets converted to the xlsforms. ${CASH_VALUE} + ${CASH_VALUE_MP} or dec(${CASH_VALUE}) + dec(${CASH_VALUE_MP}). I also tried the bind::type method and put decimal in the field and that didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mark
