Johnathan - My web map/ web app pop-up has two links: 1. I originally had this universal for any device, but recently changed the link text to be for iOS/Android. On Windows, it just sends the URL into a new tab that doesn't load anything on the page: arcgis-survey123://?itemID=7f75ac4a47c842cc934421425f54c7a7&field:operating_num={operatingnumber}&field:material={material}&field:subtype_cd={subtypecd}&field:height={height}&field:spec={apscode}&field:pole_tag={tag} 2. After reading this thread, I found the other url scheme that seemed to produce the desired result for Windows. This one prompts the Download/Open Survey123 page, whereas the previous does not: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/7f75ac4a47c842cc934421425f54c7a7?open=native&field:operating_num={operatingnumber}&field:material={material}&field:subtype_cd={subtypecd}&field:height={height}&field:spec={apscode}&field:pole_tag={tag} I tested the Survey123Connect URL on my Windows 7 machine (it has Survey123 and Connect), but it didn't work. I am not able to test on the Windows 10 tablet because I haven't gotten approval to install that on the tablets. I did try the survey123 install again to see if I get the necessary result in the registry. No luck. I will have to reach out to IT and see if there is some kind of custom network config preventing proper install. Thanks, Rami

Johnathan, I've followed the same steps above because I've been experiencing the same issue with my testers' windows 10 dell tablets. I have tried from a web app and from collector to link to a survey123 form. I have two different links, one with the https://survey123.arcgis.com and one with arcgis-survey123:// which is used for the iOS devices. The survey123 website link prompts the open Survey123 pop-up, but it can't be found on the devices. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I even tried the regedit step, but did not find any directory for survey123. Do you have any more advice/ideas? Is there a specific location that Survey123 should be installed? The default is in User/applications/. Should that be changed to Program Files? Thanks!

Nicole, Thank you for taking the time to test. At this point, I am inclined to believe the link doesn't work for me because I don't have any Windows 10 devices to test with. Your test would be in line with that hypothesis, being that you have Edge would mean you are running on Windows 10. My testers had originally told me their devices were Windows 10, but I later found that they are Windows 7. Unfortunately, it will take some time before the machines are re-imaged so that I can run a successful test. Regards, Rami

Unfortunately, the Drafts capability of the field app is an essential part of the workflow.

They are pretty locked down, but luckily I do have an admin account. On the user's machines, it was installed in the default method and location. I also have a Win 7 Dell laptop and tried installing into the Program Files instead of as a User application and saw no difference in result.

Rob and Joe , Thanks for your responses. I have tried from Web Map and Web App in both Internet Explorer and Chrome. None of the combinations seem to work. I am facing this issue both on a Dell Windows laptops. After getting a hold of the testers' machines, I found that the machines are running on Windows 7. I am guessing that is the issue. I have requested to re-image to Windows 10 and am hopeful that will do the trick.

Ismael Chivite Thanks for all of your helpful content. I have used the URL scheme in multiple applications from collector to survey123, but I have a new workflow that is causing me some trouble. I have a web app that uses the URL scheme in the pop-up to open the Survey123 field app on a Windows Laptop. I can't seem to get the link to prompt Survey123 to open. Do you have any suggestions? The link is below: arcgis-survey123://?itemID=cdbc37f68e2742b29cdb80470e72496e&field:foreman=Rami%20AlyGad&field:unit=6255&field:workclass_flag=P&field:oh_ug_flag=UG Should it be different for Windows? I tried cutting it out to the bare minimum without extra parameters, but I that approach has the same result. Regards, Rami

I have a situation that I believe most closely relates to Ashlie Hildebrand 's question above. Ismael explained that, with using an existing feature service(fs), you can use the same or less fields that already exist in the fs for questions in your survey. However, I am left wondering, what about adding fields to the survey that aren't and shouldn't be fields in the fs. My company has a project to create a Transmission Line Inspection workflow using Collector and Survey123. The idea is to view transmission lines and transmission structures(poles/towers) on the map in Collector. Then, be able to click on a structure to view the pop-up with the existing attributes so they can be updated if incorrect. In addition to existing attributes, we would look to embed a survey123 url into the popup to open a Survey123 form with completely different questions/fields in regards to conditions of different elements at the structure. Once a record is sent using that form, we would like to retrieve past inspection records, also by clicking on the structure in collector. After reading this whole Post w/comments, my viewpoint has changed to involve the following assumptions: 1. A new feature table would need to be created in the enterprise geodatabase for "TransmissionInspections" 2. The new table would need to have a relationship to the Transmission Structures(poles/towers) 3. The map read by Collector would have to include the new feature table that is related to the structures (in addition to the structure fs) so it can be opened from the structures popup (to view past/existing records). 4. There would be no need a have a geopoint field in the survey because the records would all be related to a structure location. Do my assumptions capture the best and most logical practice? I envision a circular flow of the data.
