Unchecking the 'Use Thousands Separator' box works most of the time in ArcGIS Online. If it doesn't work in your case, I rely on a failsafe Arcade expression: Text($feature.ACQUISITION_YEAR,'####') I only use the Arcade expression for popups and labels, etc. I still keep the value as a NUMBER for calculations if necessary. More info: https://developers.arcgis.com/arcade/function-reference/text_functions/#text Also, calculating a new string field from a number field using Arcade or SQL is a possibility, but why add to database size?

Hi ttamba, When I created a join between Catch Basin structures and Catch Basin Inspections, I created a symbology based on an Arcade expression rather than a Field. This way, you don't have to recreate the join for each cycle. It also allows the field crew to see where they have been, reducing the chance that the same CB gets inspected again, before the cycle resets. IIf(DateDiff(now(), $feature.InspectionDate, 'years') < 1, "Inspected", "Requires Inspection") I used 'years' in my case, but you could specify other timeframes (like days, etc.), or even calculations. I also added a specific symbology to highlight the inspections in the last 12 hours so I can see where the crews are each day. A good ESRI tutorial can be found here: Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0W6X6ovi_Q Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqC-EEw3nxY Part 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3iPkATo9R0 Part 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHJLyKica24 Regards, Patrick

Thanks Rickey Fite. I haven't used Collector yet, so I'm going to dive into it - training on the go. Thanks for the direction.

I would like to build an app that can track/quantify visitors to Town Hall during the phased ramp up to full operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. We would have a greeter at the front door to Town Hall who would ask a visitor which department they want to visit, check them in as such and determine (dashboard or similar) whether that department already has a visitor. Visitors would be checked out of a department when they leave. I have a Creator and Field Worker ArcGIS Online subscription. Should I be using Collector or Survey123 or something else? How would I go about building out an app. I've been using Desktop for a while, but relatively new to AGOL. I anticipate that we either have someone at the "exit" door (providing one way traffic through hallways) checking people out or each department could update the data showing that someone left and the office is available for another visitor. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Patrick McDonald GIS Coordinator Town of Lynnfield, MA
