Hi Michael, thanks for your response. I should be able to use your suggestion in the meantime, but I really would rather calculate the area in the projected coordinate system we are using (Albers). I saw that you did initiate an enhancement of exposing wkid's in the attribute assistant, this would be ideal if you could add this with the next release. Another thing: I understand that Attribute Assistant Expressions can only be built in VBScript, and not in python. Is this true? Do you have any plans to include python code to be used in the expressions ?

Hi Mike and other fellow users, I have an enterprise geodatabase polygon feature class, which is in a geographic coordinate system. I have a field: GIS_Area in the feature class, which I populate with the size (in hectares) of the polygons using a projected coordinate system. My question is: can I use Attribute Assistant to do update this field ? It seems that I cannot make use of Shape.STArea(), because the data source is not in a projected coordinate system. And I also when I change my data frame to the projected coordinate system, my other Attribute Assistant methods doesn't seem to work properly (INTERSECTING_FEATURE gives me incorrect results) please could you give me some advise on my predicament ? Kind regards Pieter

Thanks Neil for the prompt response, It seems it was indeed the Index that was causing the problem. It was an ascending index. When I added the new index, I wasn't able to add it as an ascending Index, but adding a normal index here did the trick. Thanks for the suggestion

I have a arcgis 10.3 file geodatabase feature class with 349 770 records. My ID field is of type LONG and contains values from 1 to 500 000. The strange thing is that when I do a Select by attribute on this field from arcmap 10.3, I can select any value lower or equal to 300 000, as soon as search for a value larger than 300 000, I don't get a result. What is going on? The whole number limit should be in the millions, shouldnt it? Has anyone seen this bug before? PLEASE assist. see attached screenshots

I have created my aerial basemap cache tiles with scale levels up to 1:2 257 When the tile cache is viewed in ArcMap, I can zoom closer past this scale level, and I can still see my basemap tiles (even though my images gets pixelated). So my problem is: When I zoom closer past this same scale level via my website (using the same web map service), my basemap tiles dissapears. How can I get the same effect I get with Arcmap ? Whereby my basemap tiles never dissapears?

Hi All, The Juno 3d device has the ability to record the EXIF information (datestamp of when the picture have been taken), and this can be enabled/disabled within the camera application settings on the device, However, when opening the camera application via ArcGIS Mobile, to collect a photo attachment (jpg), the default settings are set to not capture the EXIF information, I can set the setting to record the EXIF information for that photo, but with the next photo the setting has been reverted back to the default. Where can I set the default configuration to always record EXIF information when using the camera application via ArcGIS Mobile ? Regards Pieter Holtzhausen

Hi, I have set up my viewer config to allow users to zoom up to scale 141, My basemap map server cache tiles however only go up to scale 1128, As expected, once I zoom closer than the 1128 scale, my map will go blank, because no data exists for these levels. Is there a way to use the same 1128 cached tiles at the larger scales as well? Meaning, instead of giving me a blank map, just give me the tiles from the 1128 scale? Your help would be much appreciated Pieter Holtzhausen

Hi Pieter, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. We are trying to synchronize to a cloud server, just wondering what sort of server you are connecting to. Cheers Rosalie. No sorry, in our case it is our own ArcGIS Server (10.1), I think you should contact your cloud server service provider, and run it by them. Good luck
