It seems that the 10.1 GP Service doesn't really do a valve isolation. Just a trace. Do you have any suggestions on how to edit the model to do a valve isolation without having to give it barriers? An upstram and downstream trace would work if I could somehow get the model to only give me back the first valve it finds.

The issue you are experiencing is a know software defect logged as NIM062309: When a Feature Service's source map document contains a layer that participates in an ArcMap table join, that layer's attribute fields will not be listed when viewing that layer's properties in ArcGIS Services Directory. However, this bug was rejected by development as designed due to the fact that joins are not supported. The correct workflow is to use a geodatabase relationship class where you query related records has been provided with feature services to support this case. You will need to make sure that the table and the feature class in the relationship are in the map when they publish. An enhancement request has also been logged as NIM069615: Request to allow the viewing and/or editing of attributes in a Feature Service that are from an ArcMap table join in the source map document. If you would like to have your customer number added to this enhancement request please contact Esri Support Services at 1-888-377-4575.

Hi sblitzstein, After downloading your mobile project you will have to go to download the data to your device. Try the following steps. 1.) Click Tasks - Manage Edits - Get Data. 2.) Click Select All - Next. 3.) Set the download to FullExtent and click Get Data. 4.) Make sure the server returns "Get data succeeded". 5.) You should now see all of your layers displaying on the mobile client.

It's possible the data is not being geocoded or is being geocoded in the wrong location. Can you supply a copy of the .csv file?

Shaning, Make sure the ArcGISSOC user account has read access to the SDE Geodatabase that the image layer resides in. If the ArcGISSOC user account does not have read permissions then the Image Service will not be able to start. http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisserver/10.0/help/arcgis_server_dotnet_help/index.html#//00930000005v000000

The map that is saved in your content is read only. Public users can make changes to the map but when they save it they are saving a copy to their own account. The only way they could make changes to your original map is if they are logged in under your global account when saving.

Andy, If you visit the following link do you see the cross-domain file? http://intrfce/crossdomain.xml Also, just to make sure we are on the same page. In the Web application are you turning the service on. Your code is set to visible=false which would force you to turn the layer on in the Web application before it would be visible. Try the following. <layer label="AVL" type="dynamic" visible="true"
url="http://intrfce/arcgis/rest/services/Unit_AVL/MapServer"/>

Do you have ArcGIS Server installed on a different server than the one hosting your Flex application? If so the remote server needs to have a cross-domain file in the root directory. For security reasons, the Web browser cannot access data that resides outside the exact Web domain where the SWF file originated. However, Adobe Flash Player can load data across domains if permission is granted from the server. This is accomplished by including a small crossdomain.xml file on the remote server that permits Flash to connect to services on that server. http://server.arcgisonline.com/crossdomain.xml If the above is not the issue then is your data in the same projected coordinate sytem used by the ArcGIS Online basemaps? The first thing you should do when designing the map is change the data frame coordinate system to the same one used by ArcGIS Online services, Google Maps, and Bing Maps, which is WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere). http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisserver/10.0/help/arcgis_server_dotnet_help/index.html#//009300001571000000
