Extending a few WebAppBuilder widgets, but to include each WebApp's associated Operations Dashboard link. The issue is setting up Dashboard url without having to prompt users to sign in, and preferably not to use xhr to generate a token every time for access. From my understanding, Esri no longer supports the ability to customize Dashboard widgets. As a result, with my current knowledge of Esri's existing JSAPI framework, I am unable to see how operations dashboard urls are set up like WebAppBuilder . I can see that it requires authentication, such as user credentials, and I can see associated cookie requests. If anyone has any insight, knows where the source code is for configuring dashboard urls, code snippets, or just suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. In short, I am looking to do is replicate the process for webapp urls (that have their IDs) but with Dashboards. Thanks, Neveen

I have attempted to use several widget templates (2D), but cannot seem to export attachments in the form of images. The "Select" Widget has export functions, but it seems none of these allow for exporting attachment files in the form of jpeg. Has anyone had any success? I've tried configuring PopUp, Listview, Select, and my own custom widget templates. Thanks

Hello, I created a python script tool that exports attachments (jpegs) using the following code: open(fileLocation + os.sep + str(rel_objectid) + "_" + Name, 'wb').write(binaryRep.tobytes()) Originally, "fileLocation" was set as arcpy.GetParameterAsText(0), routing to my temp folder. I then changed it to arcpy.env.scratchFolder and also tried ' r"C:\temp". The script tool worked with no issues in ArcGIS Pro. When exporting to WebApp Builder widget, the output is locked and grayed out where I cannot make edits. While I did check the option to allow for export of these image attachments, held in a tableview or dbf, the tool executes but does not return output (the output tab in the widget is blank). Is there an issue with the code itself, as it's intended to write locally? How can I properly configure a user-defined output parameter that will run successfully in Pro so I can upload to my Portal? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you

Thanks Dan Patterson, I attempted the arcpy.da.Describe as well but attempted it a second time just in case. I receive the following error when using arcpy.da.Describe within Pro itself (meaning, as you know, that I won't be able to export the webtool)-- fidSet = desc.FIDSet AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'FIDSet' A tableview is used the script, and a join is formed between oids of a tableview of attachments and an fc. Thanks

Hello, When publishing a web tool from Pro, my tool uploads successfully. When testing the tool within WAB, I receive the following error: fidSet = desc.FIDSet AttributeError: DescribeData: Method FIDSet does not exist This runs perfectly fine in Pro and does not come up as an error during the publish phase. The web tool is intended to export selected images, with the portion of the script is as follows: desc = arcpy.Describe(inView) fidSet = desc.FIDSet if fidSet: fidList = fidSet.replace(' ','').split(';') oidSet = set([int(oid) for oid in fidList]) else: oidSet = set() Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!
