Are you talking about this Transfer Attributes tool in the Modify Features menu? It appears that yes, it isn't restricted to geometry type, but it looks like you can only edit one feature at a time.

Hi there, Is this the Transfer Attribute Tool to which you were referring? To copy the attributes from one layer over to another? Can you only transfer the attributes from 1 feature at a time? It says to click on the source feature in the map. Is there any way to click multiple features from the source layer? Thanks

I have shared a number of features in a weblayer and uploaded it onto Enterprise. I made some updates in one of the features, and tried Replacing the Web Layer, but that deleted all the other features. Is it normal practice that I should keep all features in separate web layers, so that replacing 1 feature would not affect the others? Then PlanB: I start from scratch and shared a new webmap with weblayer, However I'm getting error messages "00362 Datasets exposed field names." The issue appears to be the automatic "Shape_Length" and "Shape_Area" names. I seem to be able to rename the Alias, but can't delete or rename the Field Name. Thank you

Hello I've configured a Query Widget in the WebApp Builder to filter lot parcels by various attributes. 1. Is there some way to easily reorder the expressions? 2. I did not click the option to expand the result list by default. However, the results list is still expanded upon opening 3. Is there anyway to weed out the redundent attribute columns for the results? I want the user to be able to choose from the drop down list when they select the Statistics option or to export to file, but the output has everything. i saw another posting where you can manipulate the code, but I do not have developer access

I'd like this too! The first graph shows the complete distribution of a dataset. The second is when I had used the category selector to query a particular neighbourhood. It'd be great if we've the option to keep the category axis the same. Thanks!

Hi Xander! Yes! That arcade expression helped great! I entered it into the Color field under the Vary Symbology by Attribute Unfortunately, it didn't seem to reflect in the legend. You'd still have to go in and change the symbology to Unique Values and change each category one-by-one. It was brought up in this other post https://community.esri.com/ideas/5870-set-symbol-color-from-rgb-values-in-attribute-table?commentID=88629#comment-88629 and a Bug report was filed.

How to Color Your Map Using an Attribute Hi there! So I've managed to vary my map layer's symbology using a column of Hex Codes. The unique colours are shown on the map, but the layer's symbology is still displayed as Single Symbol. It seems the colour codes are only for show on the map. Is that correct?

Hi Derek! Could you clarify about the same underlying data layer? The data layer is a vegetation cover dataset consisting of ~18000 features (if you refer to the screenshot of the configure menu in the previous message, I called it Complete LandClass) Because of the huge volume, the map loads up pretty slow and as you can see in the left screen capture, doesn't completely load until you zoom in and out a bit. I used attribute filters to split Complete LandClass into the 6 categories. So, all 6 data layers showing in the right screen capture do come from the same underlying source data layer. The pie chart is also connected to the Complete LandClass. When selection changes (e.g. when you pick a slice in the pie chart, the Complete LandClass map layer responds). I was wondering why the 6 filtered LandClass layers do not show up in the target list even though they have the same underlying source data layer as the one that the pie chart is connected to. I appreciate your help!

Hi, Reed, Derek! As Reed said, you can link all dashboard elements to the map by going into the layer actions in the map's configure menu. e.g. when you select features in the map, the indicators, gauges, graphs and the other layers in the map (with the matching attribute) would respond. In the link that you sent, you can link dashboard elements in the serial charts configure menu. I was able to link all the elements to the chart, but none of the map layer are available in the list (other than the source layer), even though they have matching attributes.

Hi! I have a couple of "nice-to-haves": - I'd like to recommend being able to set or lock things in the ArcGis dashboard such as the panel dimensions or font size. Since viewers' screen-sizes and resolutions are different, the dashboard element panels adjust to fit, but the text does not adjust. So, the dashboard looks fine on a large monitor; but on a smaller laptop, the graphics and titles are all resized disproportionately. - I'd like to group elements together - I'd like a hover option for the element descriptions, as I was thinking of using them to add information, suggestions to filter the data before clicking, etc. Since space is such a premium, there's not much room to add text.

Hi! Does anyone know if there has been any response or follow-up to this idea? I have another request. I have a dataset classified by land categories presented in a webmap and a serial chart (graph). I've linked them to respond when selection changes. (e.g. highlight features in the map, or select a bar in the graph, the other element responds accordingly). I would like to split the dataset up and present each category into a separate filtered layer. However, the graph appears to only be able to link to one map layer.

Hi Adrian! Did you ever receive any follow up regarding this subject? I've got the same issue. I've created a dashboard of bar graphs showing vegetation land classes and have linked them to each other as well as a category selector. I would like the classes to remain the same when selection changes Thanks!

Derek Thanks for the link. Yes, I've configured the chart so that the map responds when the selection changes. However, if the map has multiple layers, (e.g. if the parent data layer is separated by attribute queries), is it possible to link them to the chart so that they would all respond when the selection changes?
