Thats really strange, no matter what I do when it hits 17 maps.. Crash. I have done a test with just one basic point layer in each map and no basemap and still doesnt work so,like you found, it appears to not just be tile layers that use webgl. I'll have to confirm with esri. And then use OpenLayers...

Sorry, no solution, just the same problem with javascript api v4.23. As soon as too many maps on the page (even if they have no basemap and only one dynamic layer in each map, no vector tiles). Doesnt appear to be any work around, did you get anything working?

We have this problem also, not with AGOL but a javascript api page with some times > 16 maps. "Solved in js api4.x" doesnt seem to be the case and reduce the number of vector tile layers does not help either. I remove the basemap from all maps entirely leaving only one or 2 dynamic layers in each map and still get the error. There is ways to share webgl contexts https://github.com/greggman/virtual-webgl but i'm not sure how, or even if possible to implement this with the esri js api. Without a solution we are going to have to use OpenLayers

Thanks for the info, that is the first i have heard about it being by design and not a bug. My requirements are fairly simple, i guess option 1). If there is a definition query on the layer I need only features that meet the query to be checked out, not the whole layer. If it were an option in the data manager it would need to be accessible from code. It is all done using the GeoProcessor object and executing "ProcessArcpadProject" in a .net application. Thanks.

I believe the underlying cause of "There are no rows in the current fetch buffer" error is archiving. I was getting this error a lot and had to disable archiving to stop it. Luckily i was just trialing offline and dont have a major need for it at the moment. Would be interested to see if that fix works, not sure how taking the DB off line then back would be a long term fix though?

I dont know but i would think the only way to do it woud be to extract it to an image file, rotate it and reattach as attachment. I currently do the first bit, extract and rotate the images for use in another system. Bit of programming to automate it all. Otherwise you will need to do it manually, i believe there are tools to extract and create attachments in bulk so you would need to extract them, rotate them all and reattach.

Thanks, didn't know about that one. Still it would be much better (for us anyway) to be able to disable the autolocation so the user is forced to place a point on the map, otherwise there is no way we can know if they are just accepting the GPS location which is generally too inaccurate. Yes the user could just re-enable the option but our users are generally not computer savvy so dont go fiddling with any options.

Include an option to not automatically capture location by GPS. We need users to just use the GPS as a guide but mark the point themselves on the map.

Thanks Russel but does that mean it is not going to be fixed up in the free app? I would prefer to use that for some applications because collector always automatically records the pont location for you(I havent seen an option to disable this?), I want the user to be forced to place the point on the map themselves (or to hit the button if they want to record GPS location). And there is also the additional cost associated with Collector if we have more users. Mick

There is a way around this. Publish the service. Then stop it and enable editor tracking in database time. Start the service.
