We were able to work with our local distributor and Jason to get a very reasonable trade in credit for 2 of our 8 units to put towards new GG04s. This was helpful for us and so far we have been pleased with the GG04.

We purchased a GG04 a few months back when Collector stopped working on our 8 Zeno 20 devices. We have been very pleased with this antenna, it has been very reliable and capable. The price point is also what has drawn us to the EOS Arrow. I am certainly interested in talking trade in dollars for the Zenos to potentially purchase more GG04 units. Zeno Mobile could be an option, but we too would need the capability to edit related tables, add attachments, and filter layers. Collector has served our organization well for providing these capabilities. I will get in touch with you soon to talk possible trade in credit. Thanks!

I was informed yesterday by the GIS Sales and Support manager for Leica that there will not be a permanent fix for the Zeno 20 because they have exhausted all avenues to upgrade the OS and none are economically feasible. They are going to try to provide the proxy for as long as they can. They said that there will be a new security release by ESRI next year that will likely end the current proxy option all together. Sounds like Collector may no longer run on the Zeno once this happens. Might want to budget for another system for 2020 if you are using Collector on the Leica Zenos. For the high cost of these units, it would have been nice to continue to use them as they were advertised...to work with Collector for ArcGIS. Has anyone tried the EOS Arrow systems? I have heard really good things about their customer service and they look like solid units.

Alex, I am having trouble getting in touch with Jason today, as I'm sure he is staying very busy... I did let some guys here know that I may have a solution for a temp fix via NMEA Bluetooth. Could you possibly send me the new Zeno connect app? When I checked on Leica myWorld it shows the last update to connect as being 11/15/2018 which I assume does not have the fix for proper NMEA output. Any help would be much appreciated, we are trying to get GPS on some key projects this week and are currently unable to do so. -Joe

I will try that now. You have to make sure that when you turn on the bluetooth on the Zeno, that it is visible to other devices. Once you toggle bluetooth on you can slide the notification bar down from the top and there is an option to make the Zeno visible to other devices. Then it can be found and paired with the phone. Not sure if this is the issue that you are having, but I ran up against this when trying to pair the 2 together.

We are having the same issues... purchased 8 of the Zeno 20 units over the past 4 years for field crews. We use Collector on all of the units (as Leica advertised) and it has worked for us up until last week. When I contacted Leica Support, I was told that their browser does not support the TLS 1.2 update and they would have to rewrite the software to be compliant which would take 2 to 3 months. They were hoping that ESRI could provide a proxy to get people up and going for now until they have a proper fix. I'm not quite sure how that would work either, but that is what I was told. I have been trying to add the Zeno to Collector on my android phone as my "Location Provider" via bluetooth and just use the corrected solution from the Zeno. I went into the GPS settings on the Zeno and set it to write NMEA sentences to the log file but I cannot get Collector to recognize the unit as a Location Provider so I am either missing something here or it cannot be done. If anyone has any ideas on this type of setup please let me know...Trying to find some use for the 8 paper weights that now lie on my desk

I have the same issue, has always been an issue. I just checked back today to see if the option was now available to search multiple fields within a layer, but it was not. I do have searches set up exactly how I want them in web appbuilder, but unfortunately this does not help me at all in Collector. I also agree that this would greatly enhance the use of the search tool in web maps. I get complaints regularly within our organization of this limitation, and I have to try to explain the limitation to non-technical field users of why they can't search in collector the way that they can in apps that were created in WAB. ESRI please add this capability!!
