Hi, I have a widget section with 4 views. I change the order in the ‘content’ of the widget. When I add the views navigation widget and I select Custom views, the order is not the same. I read in the documentation that the order is setup in the section widget (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/configure-widgets/view-navigation-widget.htm), but it don’t work with a custom view. (The order in the section widget) The order is the same in the view navigation when the views is on the “Auto”. When I want to hide one view, with the custom view, the order is anything. Thanks

Hi David, I tried the list and it works now. For the feature info widget which select the first record, I will remake a data layer with my most centered data as the first record (ObjectId 1). In this way, I will work around the problem. Thank you for your speedy response

I’m having some issues since the last update. I noticed that when I add the feature info widget, there is an entity selected by default on my map when I open the app. So if I activate the "Pan to" option, when opening the application, the map centers automatically on this selected entity. So the map have not is default extent. (An entity is selected when the app start – only when I add the feature info widget) Also, this same widget also brings an error to the List widget. When I select my List View, the application crashes and I have to reload the application. I only get this error when I have the Feature Info widget in the app. I test it to 3 different apps, and I still have the same problems. (link to the test app : Experience ) Thanks!

No, I noticed the typo! This template doesn't use a json file, the custimizations are in the default.js file. But I figured it out: in the SearchSources.js file, in the public methods you have: createOptions: function() {
return {
map: this.map,
sources: this._createSources(),
activeSourceIndex: this._getActiveSource()
};
}, I replaced the "activeSourceIndex" parameter with "all" and I have the search tool set to all layer just like I wanted. Putting null there was selecting no layer at all (no placeholder shown either). Thanks a lot for your devoted help Robert! Cheers.

Thanks again Robert! But I can't find this snippet in the files of the basic-viewer template (GitHub - Esri/Viewer: Viewer is a configurable application template that enables you to display an ArcGIS web map using … ) exepted in the "demoMap.js" file. But when I add the two lines there is no effect. Should I add the whole snippet somewhere? Thanks!

Amazing! Thanks Robert! One last thing, would you know any way to set the default search to 'ALL' and change its placeholder? Thanks!

Hi, I just downloaded the latest version of the Basic Viewer app. I set the search tool to search in 2 features. In the "default.js" file, I set locati to "false" (I don't want to search with ESRI geocoder), and I added my search layers like this: "searchLayers": [{
"id": "Adresses_1330",
"fields": ["Adr_Inc"],
"placeholder": "Adresse"
},{
"id": "Limites_de_lot_sans_remplissage_5853",
"fields": ["NO_LOT"]
}], The search itself works fine, but there's 3 annoying things I need to fix: The placeholder won't appear, the search field is just blank on loading; The search tool is set by default on the first layer, but I would like to have it set on "ALL" when the app load (I would also get rid of the layer selector and have it on "ALL" only); If I can't get rid of the search layer selector, I'd like to be at least able to change the name of the layers in the menu to something more meaningfull to general public. Anyone can help? Thanks

Found it myself! For the record, here's how to do it. In the maptour-viewer-min.js file, line 10276, the value ignorePopups is set to !0 by default. To enable popups for other feature layers on the web map, set it to !1. ignorePopups: !1,

When I click on a polygon feature with popups enabled in a Story Map Tour, no popup appear. If I click on the same polygon feature in the web map viewer, the popup shows correctly, but when I click it through the Story Map Tour, it does't. My Story Map is hosted on my own server. Thanks for your help!

Ok I found out. To delete a map tile package, you now have to go to the "Settings" page of the the package and hit that delete button. You get the following error, but I don't think there's anything to be scared of, as I've never kept the packages in AGOL before once they were published. I keep them on my computer and save the 1.2 credit/gb. For "Map tile packages" delete, the difference is: If you delete a tile package (.tpk), the hosted tile layer published from it can no longer be taken offline.

Hi, Yes that's exactly how I create tile layers. My concern is about deleting the "Map tile package" once it is published. Before the last update, when I was done publishing the "Tile layer", I was able to delete the "Map tile package", saving the 1.2 credit/GB for file storage. Now, when I delete the "Map tile package", I get this error:

Apparently, there have been a few changes in the last version! When a layer is set as "Reference layer", it will appear over the other basemap layer. So if the "Move up" button is greyed out, you have to set your own tile layer as "Reference layer" to move it on top of an ESRI layer.

I just found out you can also simply use the "move down" button. I was used to the older version of AGO that was only supporting one basemap, so I was used to set other ESRI maps as layers.

Hi, I was wondering the same, here's the way to do it: 1. You add your imagery to the map, and click "Move to basemap" 2. Delete the ESRI basemap 3. Add the ESRI basemap you want as a normal layer like this: And here you go! Like you said, if there is two maps in the basemap layer, the one from ESRI will be on top. But be carefull, if there's only your basemap in the basemap layer, the map scales will be restricted to the ones available in your tile layer.

I just realized I didn't post the solution I found to this problem. It was only a matter of ArcMap Version. The version I used (10.2 I think), was using slightly different scales that the 10.3 version (the difference was in the decimals). When they updated ArcGIS Online, packages using the old scale values couldn't publish. That's it! Cheers.
