If I have a dynamic map service with feature access enabled, and the feature service has attachments enabled, a FeatureLayer object created from a layer in the MAP service will show that attachment capabilities are enabled. However, if I try to post a new attachment with the addAttachment() method, the API throws an error, so as a work-a-round, I have to grab the URL, replace 'MapServer' with 'FeatureService', create a new FeatureLayer object, and post the attachment. If the FeatureLayer object is able to detect that the map service's associated feature service has attachment capabilities, should the object be able to know how to post attachments to that feature service? Here's a console.log of the error that takes place inside the 4x API

The input unit is in ft and I'm expecting the output to be in meters. This is based on the units that are in the vcsWkid parameters. As you can see, the returned Z-value is not changed. I also checked to see if there are any transformations, none were returned.

I have a map in ArcGIS Pro and I set the data source of all the layers to existing services on my Portal. I'm trying to share the Web Map and it's still showing config and such to try to get me to publish new Map / Feature services. Is that a requirement? I would hope not because you might just like using ArcGIS Pro for symbology and such to make new maps rather than having to do it on the Portal map viewer that is more limited.

In 3.x API, whether a webmapid is used to create the map object or not, layers in the map seem to be ordered by what type of Map Service they are. No matter what order they're added to the map object. This is the order, top to bottom, based on my observations: Feature Layers (whether they are in the web map or not) Dynamic Map Service Tiled Map Services / Vector Tile Layers WMS layers Basemap in Web Map (if webmapid was used to create map object) With 4.x API, I'm not seeing the same logic, it's like it creates a Web Map sandwich: Feature Layers in Web Map WMS Layer in Web Map Dynamic Map layer (not in web map) Feature Layers (not in web map) Tiled Map Services / Vector Tile Layers (not in web map) Basemap in Web Map (if webmapid was used to create map) What I'm hoping for is that dynamic map services and/or feature layers not in the web map would be able to draw on top, but they aren't. They're getting covered up by the WMS Web Map layer. Again, this regardless of what order they're added to the map.

I'm using a collector link like so: https://collector.arcgis.app?itemID=<webmapID>¢er=34.0547155,-117.1961714 The web map opens and pans to the location like it's supposed to. However a pin icon isn't dropping on the location like it used to. I've only seen this in iOS so far. Here's an image in Android with the correct behavior using an arcgis-collector:// link Jeff Shaner

James Tedrick, In an Integromat workflow, after a survey is submitted for the first time, I use a webhook and HTTP to hit the updateFeatures endpoint to update the values of two fields that are hidden from the survey. I'm finding that when I edit and re-send the survey, that the values of the two hidden fields I had previously updated aren't being persisted with the re-send webhook, but it seems that the field default values are, probably because that's how the Form has it stored. For now, my way around this is to use Inbox criteria based on the value of the hidden fields to re-open and submit surveys, rather than the Sent folder. In the sent folder, are the objectid and globalId values stored? Perhaps a refresh option in the Sent folder could help prevent values from being replaced by default form values.

I have a map document with layers that contain 1:M relationships as well as M:N relationships from a SDE. When publishing as Map & Feature Services, the M:N relationships are found in the Map Service rather than in the feature service as which is where I would expect them to be. Any ideas on why this is?

When I publish Feature Services in AGOL, they get published to https://services.arcgis.com/<orgid>/ArcGIS/rest/services/xxx This orgid is nice to have and sometimes essential to use in other REST API calls, just as https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/portals/<orgid>/users Can one generate a token through https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/generateToken and then make a call to retrieve organization information, including the orgid?

Figured it out in case anyone sees this in the future. In the AGOL Organization settings, there's a place where you can whitelist domains. Once you add a domain to the list, CORS will block all other domains. It is best to leave it empty.

ArcGIS Enterprise is giving me a lot of trouble when it comes to having Field Domains, currently have an ongoing case with Esri Support. A workaround I thought that might work would be to publish the layer in ArcGIS Online, where Field Domains work flawlessly. Then publish the layer in ArcGIS Enterprise without the field domains (It fails to publish when I have field domains in the fgdb, again, ongoing case with Esri Support), then use the JSON definition of the Feature Service in AGOL and pop it into the JSON definition of the Feature Service in ArcGIS Enterprise. Except for one thing that I noticed... In ArcGIS Enterprise, when I pull up the JSON definition using ArcGIS Online Assistant (ago-assistant.esri.com), it doesn't have a "Data" component that lists all the layers in the Feature Service. Even though the Feature Service definitely has layers that I'm able to pull into a Web Map and edit, etc. Any ideas on why the Item's JSON is different in Enterprise than in AGOL? Even though the Feature Services are basically the same, except for the lack of Field Domains in Enterprise, the JSON definition of the Feature Service in Enterprise is missing the "data" component that contains the information for the layers, pop-ups, etc.

Trying to pull up Web AppBuilder after a few weeks, nothing different has been changed. I'm not able to connect to my AGOL organization. CORS policy seems to be the culprit. Any ideas?
