Kelly, I have no any joins in my data. I am wondering why this should be the case when I have done all those hacks with no any promising outcome.

Got curious and...was just wondering which units does the Create Fishnet tool takes when specifying the cell size height and width. No such information in the documentation. Any info?

Hi ArcPythoneers, I would like to split points (they are uniquely grouped with diff points belonging to different family of points) based on their spatial distance. One thing I don't know to get it is the distance from one point to the other and keep track of that so that when it is beyond a specified threshold, then I should break the group point and assign it to a different family of points. Kindly, if anyone could be having insights about an ideal approach, I will be more than glad. Thanks..ArcGIS Pro Python ArcGIS API for Python Calculating distance between points in a Feature layer

Hi GeoNet family, I am not so advanced in Python but I can comprehend tasks. Having said that, I have a point feature layer of about 200'000. In this layer, the points are uniquely identifiable by an Event field which contains families of different points. Of the +200K points, each has a unique #CatalogNumber. Now, my task is to figure out how to write a script that enables me to run through the set of points in my feature layer and gets the distance between each of them. If the distance is beyond a certain threshold, I should break and have the set of points assigned to the next break of lines but in this case, I should remember that that if this is a line which is from the same family, I should maintain the relationship. Any idea? If I do not sound clear, I am very much willing to elaborate on the above issue. See the Attachment! Thanks, Moses

Hi all, I have a task of developing a geoprocessing tool that will help me generate layers of GIS polygons from points collected during deep-sea expedition(s) using Remotely Operated Vehicles as inputs . The polygon layers generated should act as a representative of showing the area of coverage and those that have not been covered during an expedition. My question on this would be, what should I put in mind as I work on this. I appreciate your feedback. --Thanks! `TKM

Hi all, I might have not explored it fully but I may need to be updated on this. Is there a way in ArcGIS Pro one should italicize or make bold Text instead of depending on specific characteristics of a font. I agree some fonts have such characteristics but some which I would prefer using than others don't have. Any input on this? --Thanks!
