Hi I'm trying to use 'Select layer by attribute' in the model builder but with no luck (or result/selection). I build the query using the drop-down interface, which then gets translated into this: Family LIKE '%Building%' 'Family' being the attribute where I'm trying to select the features that contain the string 'Building'. The exact same query works fine when I run the tool from the Geoprocessing window (outside Model Builder). What am I doing wrong? Bruno

Hi Robert - thanks for your quick reply and apologies for being slow, but that was exactly the GP tool I was looking for.

Hi In order to convert a DTM raster for CAD, I'm looking to create a 3D point dataset that I can export as a DWG. I'm using 'raster to point' which creates the point array but stores the elevation value as an attribute, is there a tool that creates points in 3D based on a 2D point and an attribute value? I hope there's an easy answer to this, but I just got stuck. Thanks, Bruno

Hi, I've been trying to add some more detailed 10 m resolution DEM (as a IMG file stored locally on my machine). I'm adding that as a Terrain source, sitting above the Esri global elevation layer. However despite both data sources being set to visible, the Esri source does not appear when I got my own DEM switched on (creating a very steep cliff and flat earth!). Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Hi We'd like to share models we've developed in the model builder via email. We can create a toolbox for every model we want to share and send that around, but I was wondering if the geoprocessing packages were a more elegant way of sharing? The problem we ran into with this route is that we were not able to add/edit the geoprocessing package in the new project. Any help would/insights be much appreciated. Bruno

Hi I'm updating a landform classification script that ran under 10.3 to ArcGIS Pro 2.2. The model used a number of Single Output Map Algebra (SOMA) functions that I managed to replace with the raster calculators. That all seems to work, apart from this one formula: ORIGINAL medtpi1 == 1 and medtpi2 == 1 and rclsslope == 0 ArcGIS Pro "%medtpi1%" == 1 and "%medtpi2%" == 1 and "%rclsslope%" == 0 I'm getting the error below and I must admit I'm not quite sure what to do with it. All other formulas have just two statements, so I thought the error might be related to the fact that there are three but this is a bit beyond my experience to date. ERROR 000539: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<expression>", line 1, in <module> File "<string>", line 5, in rcexec ValueError: The truth value of a raster is ambiguous. Invalid use of raster with Boolean operator or function. Check the use of parentheses where applicable. Failed to execute (Raster Calculator (14)) Any help would be much appreciated. Bruno

Hi I've got a set of links between two location each (A-B) and I'd like to create curved polylines, rather than a straight line from A to B. This is for reasons of legibility as a lot of points sit on similar x or y coordinates and the straight lines overlap too much. Would anyone know how to do automate this process? The straigth A-B line is obviously straight forward, but I can't find any references of how to create an arc between two points. Cheers, Bruno
