I have built a web app builder application to display data collected by a survey (built in survey123 Connect for ArcGIS). The end users need to be able to easily open the web app builder application directly from the survey123 app to determine if a point has already been created for that particular location before they create another one with the form in survey123. To make it user friendly I would like to allow the user to open the web app builder application from the description before entering the survey form itself. The HTML gets interpreted as literal text. Does anyone know how to get HTML to work in the survey description?

I have the same issue where my data is shared with the public but it is not being added to Open Data 2.0. Is there a known bug?

Due to the issue with pop-ups not working in the Explorer App since the update in June, I reconfigured the web map to reference the full URL to the layer ID instead of just to the root of the map server. i.e. (for example) add the layer with http://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/CommercialDamageAssessment/MapServer/0 and not via the root URL http://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/CommercialDamageAssessment/MapServer . Currently, I have the Explorer App version 17.1.1 and the good news is this worked to access the pop-ups in the web map. The problem now is that the pop-up is interpreting the values in the PIN field of our Tax Parcels layer as a phone number. The user can tap on the PIN and get the option to FaceTime Audio, Send Message, Add to Contacts, or Copy. I can imagine this to be a point of confusion for users accessing these pop-ups. Also, for some parcels, the text of the value in the PIN field in the pop-up is green instead of black as configured. Any idea how to make sure the PIN is not interpreted as a phone number?

I tried your 2nd suggestion and it worked! It will take a while to rebuild the map this way but at least we have a fix. Thanks!

This problem has been resolved. Turns out the issue was due to a change in the layer name within the secure service consumed by survey123. When I changed the layer name to be the same as the survey name it worked.

I have a survey in survey123 Connect for ArcGIS that is using a custom feature service from our ArcGIS Server. I have tested this using a secure feature service from our Dev ArcGIS Server successfully. Now I am trying to replicate the survey using a secure feature service from our Prod ArcGIS Server and so far it is unsuccessful. The secure feature service has been added to ArcGIS Online as an item (credentials stored with the item). I took the URL from the bottom of the item details page (in ArcGIS Online) and entered it in to the [submission_url] column of the settings tab in the XLS form spreadsheet for the survey. The form preview looks good as designed but when I attempt to publish the survey I get an error message 'The custom feature service submission URL is not compatible with this survey (Table not found). If I click on the link for the submission URL, a web browser opens stating 'You do not have permissions to access this resource or perform this operation. Error:403'. It is as if ArcGIS Online is not storing the necessary credentials entered when I created the item for the secure feature service. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot are appreciated.

We are currently using 10.3 but also testing 10.5 on a separate pilot server. We expect to be finished with testing soon and upgrading our production environment to 10.5 in the next couple weeks.

Thank you Mike, I wasn't finding any other posts when I searched GeoNet. Good to know the bug has been identified and we are not the only ones having the problem.

Since the Explorer app updated in June, the popups in the map are no longer working. The popup displays the fields as configured but there is no data. The popups work as expected from the web map in ArcGIS Online. Also, we have some mobile devices where the Explorer app has not yet been updated and the popups do display the data in the Explorer app version prior to the June 2017 update. The web map is 'St. Louis County, MN - County Land Explorer' and is open to the public and can be found in the Explorer app by searching 'St. Louis County, MN'. Any ideas? Does the popup need to be configured differently? Thanks!

We have the eSearch widget implemented in the County Land Explorer for St. Louis County, MN. Since upgrading to v 3.7, I noticed a new glitch in the search options. One of our search options allows the user to search for Plats by selecting a Plat name from an alphabetical list of values (derived from a field in the feature class of the web service). Prior to the upgrade, the list displayed all unique values from that field, but now this list is very short (less than half of the unique values that exist). The following is the configuration for that search parameter (nothing has been changed in this configuration prior or since the upgrade to 3.7): <layer> <definitionexpression></definitionexpression> <enableexport>false</enableexport>

<expressions> <expression alias="PlatName" textsearchlabel="Select plat name from list" isvaluerequired="false"> <values> <value prompt="Please note plats are currently alphabetical by case/location: ALL CAPS (outside Duluth) then First Letter (Duluth plats)" uniquevalsfromfield="PlatName" isvaluerequired="false">PlatName LIKE '%[value]%'</value> </values> </expression> </expressions> <graphicalsearchlabel>Click on a graphic below to select a plat</graphicalsearchlabel> <spatialsearchlayer>true</spatialsearchlayer> <titlefield>PlatName</titlefield> <fields all="false"> <field name="PlatName" alias="" /> </fields> <links>
http://www.stlouiscountymn.gov/GOVERNMENT/OnlineServices/SearchSubdivisionPlats.aspx <icon>assets/images/i_searchSLC2.png</icon>
</links> <zoomscale usegeometry="true" zoompercent="2" /> <autoopendatagrid>false</autoopendatagrid> <relates></relates> <queryattachments>false</queryattachments> <symbology> <simplefillsymbol color="0xff0033" alpha="0.3"> <outline color="0x990000" alpha="0.8" width="2" /> </simplefillsymbol> </symbology> </layer> Is the issue with the 'uniquevalsfromfield' parameter not displaying the full list of unique values a known issue? Is there a known fix? Thanks, -Molly

In our public facing web map (ArcGIS viewer for flex v3.1) we have configured the search widget to allow users to search parcels. The widget functions great - the parcels are selected and the map zooms to the selected parcels. However, when the user zooms out beyond the scale range set for the data in the service, the selected features also disappear. I have seen in other flex web maps where the selected features continue to display even after zoomed out beyond the scale range of the features in the service. Any suggestions are appreciated!
