Right click your element (title pane, geocoder, zoom buttons) and select Inspect Element in Chrome. And use that window to see what CSS code that element has and you can even change it on the spot to see temporary changes.

Internet Explorer is always flimsy with certain widgets. For the first result to be shown right on IE i added some padding both for the main search and the Results. .simpleGeocoder .esriGeocoder {
padding: 5px;
}
.simpleGeocoder .esriGeocoderResults {
position: relative;
padding: 5px;
}

Why not use accordion panes instead of the title panes? As for the Geocoder div if its set in a small title pane that what it does unless you set the CSS position to absolute then it should get that suggestions on top of the title pane.

Seems like you have shared it within the Georgia Institute of Technology organization only and only people with users within that organization can access it (not necessary only your user). When you choose to share it and you have an Organizational account you need to have the permissions to share it publicly in order for the map to reach everyone. Does yours look like this:

Are you thinking of using the data only in the ArcGIS suite? Is so your solution is easy using Field Aliases. Setting a field alias is one way to make your tabular data easier to work with. It is common to find database field names abbreviated or in a coded syntax. Database field names also have to follow naming convention guidelines, which can restrict the use of numbers, spaces, and special characters. Field aliases do not need to abide by these strict rules and allow you to set the name of a field to be easily understood. Steps: Right-click the table or layer in the table of contents and choose Open Attribute Table. Right-click a field heading and click Properties. Type an alias. Click OK.A new layer is added to the map. Tip: Press CTRL+right-click a field name or use CTRL+SHIFT+N to switch between showing field names and field aliases in a table. You can also toggle by clicking the Table Options menu and clicking Show Field Aliases.

As long as you set the feature service to be public and make your web map available to the public it should work. You should have the link in your Arcgis Online web app/journal app by clicking share and copying the Link location.

You can create a new field for each of those specific percentages classes (Residential land use breaking up in Res_1, Res_2, Res_3, etc.) and use Field Calculator to calculate the percentage you need having the polygon selected and using its Shape_Area(total area) field to do the calculations. The only drawback is that you have to do it by individual Polygon because I don't think you have the same percentages for each one. On the other hand if you want to try the parcel editor that might help out too. ArcGIS Desktop

I have searched in GeoNet for that name and I have found some people using that url for their applications. I don't know how reliable that is and why create another instance if everything is working right from previous versions. Just to use up your host space?:-??

To batch geocode I suggest using the free* TAMU geoservices. They give you about 5000 free credits to use.
