Yes! We have a need for dynamic titles. Our data sensors are being moved to different locations and we need the titles to reflect the current locations of the sensors, currently a field in the featureset. Also, our end users are filtering the data and we need the titles to reflect these filters.

Hi all, Simple question, I hope. I'm looking to select a polygon on a featurelayer based on a point on another layer. I've figured out how to query the polygon table and get a result if I use a whereclause and onQueryFeatureStatusChanged, for example name="John Doe". Can't find any examples of using a geographic query though. I'm looking for something like - "selectedpoint.geometry within querylayer.geometry". Any examples or hints would be welcome.

Keith, have you looked at this sample. Not sure if it'd work for a FeatureTable as it uses a dgrid. If nothing else it might give you a hint. dgrid | ArcGIS API for JavaScript

I've created a FeatureTable that contains a date column. When this column displays in the featuretable grid it's off by one day, compared to the attribute data in Arc. Any ideas why? i.e. Attrtibute data in Arc says 10-Mar-15, the featuretable displays 09-Mar-15

Love an answer to your 2nd question if someone knows the answer - how to refresh a featuretable. For your 1st question this worked for me. (sorry couldn't get it formatted correctly) //populate the AppTable grid appTable = new FeatureTable({ "featureLayer" : AppLayer, //"readOnly" : false, "map" : map }, 'divApps'); appTable.startup(); on(appTable, "dgrid-select", function(evt){ // fires when a row in the grid is clicked AppLayer.clearSelection(); var EditQuery = new esri.tasks.Query(); EditQuery.where = "OBJECTID = " + evt[0].data.OBJECTID; EditQuery.outSpatialReference = new esri.SpatialReference({wkid:102100}); EditQuery.outFields = ["*"]; AppLayer.selectFeatures(EditQuery, esri.layers.FeatureLayer.SELECTION_NEW, function (features) { if (features !== undefined && features.length !== 0) { //should be only one result returned, so using first array value [0] zoomTo(features[0],250); } else { alert("Nothing found.") } }); });

Hi Deryck, ArcGIS Desktop (ArcEditor and ArcInfo), ArcGIS Engine, and ArcGIS Server Workgroup come with an executable file that installs SQL Server Express and enables the SQL Server Express instance to store ArcSDE geodatabases. The ArcSDE for Oracle executable will be found on another disk. If you do not have any other disks you can download the software (that you are licensed for) from the Customer Care Portal. If you need additional help with the Customer Care Portal I would recommend calling Customer Service. Thanks - Jake I'll give it a try.

I'm wondering where I'd find the ArcSDE setup files for Oracle. I've found the files for SQL Server(on my ArcGIS 10.0 disk) and installed them and everything is working fine. Now I need to get Oracle working and I can't seem to find the install(or download) for ArcSDE for Oracle (11g). Anyone point me in the right direction?

This is a newby question - I'm trying to setup editing on a layer in one of my file geodatabases(gdb) on the mapserver. Can this be done? I've read that you have to setup a featureservice, but this requires my data to be in a SDE database (i.e. SQL Server, etc...) Does this mean I have to move my data out of ArcGIS and into something like SQL Server? Confused!!

I have an Image service set up on a tiff file. I don't want to display the image above a certain scale. Can you tell me how to set this? I know you can set this on a Map service in the MSD file, but can't seem to find this anywhere's for my Image service file.

These sub layers holds essential information (like the foot prints attribute table). If unchecking the visibility check box isn't enough you can also symbolize these layers with "no color" symbols. meaning that they will still show up in the TOC, but they won't disturb the map view. Good idea - I give that a try. Thanks for the ideas.

I've created a Mosaic Dataset from rasters. Whenever I opened the Mosaic it also displays the boundary and footprint, which I don't want displayed, as I'm loading this into a service on Arc Server. Is it possible to permanently remove this information from the mosaic and how?
