Thank you Mike! I plugged in the code and it seems to be working fine. I'll try it on a few different browsers to see how it works on them.

Hello, I am using the Maps and Apps Gallery. For some time, I have been having to refresh my page to get the header to display properly. I will attach two screen shots to show the difference. I have looked at Firebug, but was unable to find the issue. Refresh The site can be viewed at http://maps.cityofclovis.org Thanks!

Brian, How did you deal with multiple signs on one pole? I imagine that the coordinates would be just a tad different when collecting multiple signs for that one location. I'm trying to implement a collection effort as well. Also, was there a way you could control the subfields for the sign type? For example if Regulatory was selected, the next field would only give the option of stop, speed, turn etc rather than show all signs so that a warning sign doesn't get selected and then a stop sign get specified as the series type. Nancy, I have only had to deal with collecting single sign features so far. Most of the data for my collection was for Stop and Yield signs for a traffic flow question. I did you use subtypes (regulatory, warning, etc), and when I choose a subtype it would go into the selection of signs appropriate for that subtype (regulatory: stop sign, warning: yellow chevron, etc). If I had to account for multiple signs on one post, I would add the subtype and domain field again as a second choice. To display this, I would probably have to query it to NOT NULL on the second fields as a second layer on the map. Unfortunately, the subtype option first then the sign type only worked in ArcMap. In the collector app, I have not found a way yet for it to observe a subtype first, then the sign type, which led to a very long list when collecting signs.

I have recently began using the TOC widget for a Java App, Does anyone know how to make it so all layers are off and all groups are collapsed by default? Thank you.

My overlay street layer has been cached. What I am trying to do is overlay the ESRI imagery basemap with my street overlay cached layer at the same time. If our organization had our own imagery I would be able to cache the Imagery with a road overlay layer in one basemap. However I would like two basemaps to appear using ESRI imagery and my Road Reference Overlay Layer.

I am running a few applications like Citizen Service request. Our area does not have aerial imagery, so if I want to use an image basemap I use this service: http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServer. I created a cached basemap ffrom the ImageReferenceOverlay basemap which is a streets layer that is meant to overlay imagery. I am having trouble including this basemap into the Imagery Basemap that ESRI provides. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you.

I had to create a new feature class for the street signs using the Loc Gov't Data Dictionary as a guide. I used domains for the sign code/ description and used subtypes for sign type (regulatory, warming, etc.)

I am having trouble finding a way to add an address locator bar in Silverlight Viewer similar to the one that is available in Flex Viewer. I know you can use the search feature and type in an address, I am trying to eliminate extra steps by having a single address search bar at the top. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks for your help.

I could not find a way in ArcMap, but if you have Illustrator you can export as AI. Then you can select a highway shield in your map in Illustrator. From there, copy and paste into ArcMap. You will have to add text to label the highway shields.
