I'm trying to update a service definition as per these instructions: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000012383 This is the service that I need to update. I need to increase the maxRecordCount: https://services6.arcgis.com/pkAymxjI3epp4VoG/ArcGIS/rest/services/WARDAT_Entities/FeatureServer However when I get to the part that says: In the browser's address bar, insert 'admin' between 'rest' and 'services' in the URL like the one displayed below: It takes me to a page that just says Token Required What am I doing wrong?

This was a big help. I managed to get the color working using a primitiveOverride, but not the symbol or text. According to the known limitations on the CIMSymbol, primitiveOverride wont work for some properties. https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-symbols-CIMSymbol.html#known-limitations Do you know if there's any documentation anywhere that might give more insight on which properties can or cannot be overridden with a primitiveOverride?

I'm making an application that needs to display a feature layer with some complex symbols. The symbol needs to display an icon, a colored border, and some text. Here's an example: I've written a function that creates the symbol. It takes three variables, color, symbol, and text. Feature layer I'm working with has values for those three variables. The problem I have is: how do I get those values from the feature layer to the CIMsymbol? I'm currently using a Unique Value Renderer, but that only allows me to send one value, which I'm currently using for the symbol. I looked into using a Dictionary Renderer but that seems to use key value pairs to select symbol parts, which means that I would have to make a colored border symbol for every color in the rainbow, and a text symbol for every text value in the layer. That's definitely unworkable as the text values and colors are input by users and change frequently. What is the best way to hook my CIMSymbol up to my feature layer and pass the values it needs? Here is the code for my function. function getSymbol(color, symbol, text) {

So, I'm building an app using the JavaScript API. I have a feature layer that uses an unique value renderer in order to display custom symbols. It's very common for a number of features to have the same exact lat/lon, and with the symbols being the same size, you can only see one feature. When you click a feature the popup displays and you can page through and see the properties of all the features, but the visible feature doesn't change. I want to be able to change which feature is being displayed to the user as they cycle through the features in the popup. Any idea how to do this?
