@KellyGerrow, does the upcoming beta for calculated fields in smart forms signal that this feature might be on a similar timeline? Thank you for any clues...

Hello Community, Apologies if this info is RTM territory, but can I get stacked percentage charts as symbols in Map Viewer or via the JS API that would behave like these in the Insights product? https://doc.arcgis.com/en/insights/latest/create/column-chart-symbols.htm Having stacked percentage symbols running with a time slider is the ultimate goal. All clues cheerfully accepted, thank you!

@Abbey_Roelofs this is great! We realized we'd have to do a timeshift to play with the slider, and the new map viewer ecosystem didn't have the same formatting options described here. Your work here is inspiring our team to break out of the confines of the AGOL app configurator, thank you very much.

Thanks @KellyGerrow We have scenarios where two fields could be related but we can only do QA in batches: Entering Common Name and Scientific Name for a tree, and syncing the correct partner when one changes. Domains can help but both the stored and display values can't be simply exported or given to a view. Entering or updating a diameter measurement for a tree (DBH), there is a standard DBH * 1.333 calc that needs to travel with that record to be able to render the root zone ring for that tree. To simplify symbol use, it is nice to be able to check off variants of a single category, but then have a score stored that shows how many of these were chosen. Then we can point to one field to make rendering choices. Ex: Marking an asset a high priority due to any number of factors like damage level and/or rarity and/or number of tickets pointing to it. Thanks again, looking forward to this feature.

Hi Josh, We are preparing for spring updates on a couple of inventories where notebook automation would save us from deploying a full script from a external service. Can you tell us more about the rollout date for this feature? Fingers crossed that this emerges in May or June! Thank you.

@KevinBurke thanks - Two updates: current behavior is the same. Media elements work fine but the attributes get wiped when text elements are added in the Beta popup. The second update is that it seems like the FM app looks at any presence of a "text" element in the popup, then operates in 'custom attribute display' mode using the old standard handler, expecting the first rich content element it processes to contain the complete display. So in my case, the text fields are headers and have no {substitutions} so the code accurately shows the single string and that's it. That clue came from @Anonymous User 's answer in the OP that the popups are handled with older code. I opened the beta map in the standard viewer expecting to see the popup treated as unconfigured. Instead I saw that the popup was listed as having the custom attribute display, with the ability to edit that first rich content element.

This is out of my depth - but maybe a two-way replica is the mechanism for that? I think two-way is supported only by SDE, so you may have what it takes.

That is great troubleshooting, I wouldn't have thought the font would matter to the field definition.

I have been able to reach into related tables from a feature layer, adding and editing the records in the table. In this case, I created the feature layer, table and relationship using ArcGISPro and published to ArcGISOnline. So the layer and the table (and the relationship's definition) all live on ArcGISOnline. Was this the path you were hoping to take?

Hi @KevinBurke and fellow mappers: close or reload the tab on a new beta web map after naming and saving! Here is something reproducible for me in FF and Chrome. Start a new beta web map, name and save it. As long as you keep that same tab open without reloading, you will clobber the form in a new Field Maps instance for that map with every change to the beta map in that tab! Make a manual form, or convert, save and it will behave in iOS. But make any change to that beta map in that open tab, including renderers, etc. and the FM form will get clobbered. Close that tab and re-open the beta map in a new tab, or even reload that tab, and you can make changes to your FM form, and your beta web popup and the FM form will not get clobbered. This works even if you create and keep open the beta web map in Firefox, and edit and save the new Field Maps instance in Chrome! That first open tab, as long as it is open and not reloaded, has different side effects for a map save than a new tab or the same tab if reloaded.
